Today I am talking about the Reno Ice Adult League playoffs. This is not for my concept. This is for the league that concept is based on. We are halfway through the season so I think it is time to start looking at the playoffs. Playoff formats and dates have not been announced yet. The regular season will end on December 14th. The playoffs will probably take place December 15th through 19th. A-League and C-League end on December 8th. They could start their playoffs sooner. If the league wants to host all of their championships on the same day like they did last season, I don’t see A-League and C-League starting their playoffs before B-League.
With only 5 teams in the A-League I think they will have a 4 teams playoffs. With 12 teams in B-League they will at least have a 4 team playoff but could have a 8 team playoff. they did have an 8 team playoff last season. There are 10 teams in C-League. Like B-League they could have either a 4 or 8 team playoff.
A-League
Some of the teams in A-League have already played 7 games. Meaning that there is only 4 to 5 games left for A-League teams. In a 4 team playoff scenario, no teams are currently eliminated. With only 5 teams, only 1 team will be eliminated. As of writing this here are only 2 points (1 win) separating the bottom 3 teams.

B-League
B-League is 6 games into the season. Teams have 5 or 6 remaining games. No teams have been eliminated yet from even a 4 team playoff. The bottom two teams are only two wins away from getting into the top four. The bottom two teams are also only one win away from getting into the top eight spots. They would probably have to win at least two games to move up into the eighth spot.

C-League
Like A-League some of the teams have already played 7 games. That means that teams only have 4 or 5 games left. No teams have been eliminated yet from either a 4 or 8 team playoff.
