Next up in the Reno Ice Adult League concept is Doughboys from B-League. The doughboys are a police team. The team was founded by and majority of the players are from the Reno Police Department. Members of police departments in the surrounding areas can also play for the Doughboys. I am pretty sure they are a police team in real life but I am not 100% sure about that. For at least this concept they will be the police team.
In real life the name comes from a sponsorship from Doughboys Donuts here in Reno. For this concept the police team has always been named the Doughboys and has been around since the beginning of the RIAL. Then in 2009 when Doughboys Donuts opened in Reno, they would have sponsored the team.

Doughboys Primary Logo
The current colors for the Doughboys are the same as the Vegas Golden Knights. The colors for the hockey team are slightly different from the colors of the donut shop. The donut shop has red/white colors and the hockey team in this concept has always had red/gold. The origin of the colors is that the founder of the team was a 49ers fan. The primary logo is the logo is a circle. There is a black ring with the Doughboys Donut logo inside. thats followed by a red ring and a grey ring. Inside of the grey ring is the text Doughboys Hockey Club in gold. There is another red ring outside of the grey ring.

Doughboys Alternate Logos
The first logo is the Doughboys logo recolored in the hockey teams colors. The second logo is the primary logo but the donut shop logo has been replaced with a gothic D. The gothic D is a callback to some of the teams historical logos. The third logo is the donut shops alternate logo. Then there are different colors of the gothic D. The second to last logo is their RPD logo. It is gold, blue and navy. The last logo goes with the RPD logo. It has DB in a shield in blue and gold. The DB is for Doughboys

Doughboys Throwback Logos
The Doughboys have been around since the league started so they do have a lot of throwback logos. The first three logos on the first page are the Doughboys original logos. They would have only been briefly used before the team adopted their next logo set. Their second logo set is the next seven logos. During this time is when the gothic D would have become an iconic look for the team. They followed that up with the next five logos. During this time they changed the gothic D to a Block D. The four wardmark logos after the block D set would have been used throughout the gothic D and block D periods. The last four logos on this page would have been used during the block D period.
The first logo on page two would have been the teams primary logo. That logo would have been introduced in the early to mid 90’s That logo would have ushered in a new era for the team. The second logo would have been a shoulder patch logo. The next two logos would have been jersey logos. Those logos complete the original set with that primary logo. The next five logos would have been introduced in the early 2000’s as alternate logos. The last three logos would have been introduced with the Doughboys Donuts partnership in 2009. Along with the new logos came new colors as they would go from red/gold to maroon/Vegas gold. They would use those logos from 2009 until 2017 when they introduced their current logos.
