Goal #1
Goal #2

To start out our goalie was in Mexico the day of the game. Which was fine we knew about this ahead of time. Unfortunately though our backup goalie was unavailable to play. We ended up getting a goalie last minute. Reno Pond Hockey’s top two scorers were also unavailable for this game. Those two things probably effected the outcome of the game the most. Flop didn’t seem like anything Reno Pond Hockey couldn’t compete with. This game just came down to Reno Pond Hockey having a short bench playing against a team with a full bench. Flop only had a couple of players better than the guys who played for Reno Pond Hockey in this game. Flop didn’t back check. They did a lot of cherry picking. It would have been a completely different game if either #17 Jake Jacobson or #71 Dominic Hyer would have been their. Reno Pond Hockey is going to struggle to win games without #35 Clint McCoy, #71 Dominic Hyer and #17 Jake Jacobson. #35 Clint McCoy does a lot to give Reno Pond Hockey a fighting chance. #71 Dominic Hyer and #17 Jake Jacobson give Reno Pond Hockey the advantage they need to win. Reno Pond Hockey drops to 0-2-0 to start the season. They have allowed 12 goals in two games. It’s still early in the season. There is still plenty of hockey to be played. There is no reason to be concerned at this point in the season. If we end up being 0-4-0 or 0-5-0 then there is need to be concerned. At this point all Reno Pond Hockey can do is keep training and pushing for better results.
