I didn’t get a playoff update out last week. I have one here for all of the Reno Ice Adult League fans today. Things are really heating up as we get closer to the playoffs. In B-League teams are fighting for the last three spots in the playoffs. In C-League most of the playoff spots are still up for grabs. In D-League two teams are trying to secure their playoff spots and second place at the same time. Three teams in D-League are also fighting to get into a playoff position. In E-League it’s a three way battle for the last two playoff spots.
There are also plenty of games to watch this week. Their is one game that would put a team in a playoff position. There is one game that could eliminate a team from playoff contention. There are three games where teams will have chances to secure playoff spots. There are two games that are possible playoff matchups. There is just a lot of exciting stuff going on this week.
B-League
In B-League Cruz Construction have secured their playoff spot. If they get one more point they will secure first place. No one else in B-League has secured their playoff spot yet. No one in B-League has been eliminated from playoff contention yet. Black Ox are one loss or shootout loss away from being eliminated from playoff contention. With two to four points still up for grabs and second through fourth place tied, Hyundai N-Line and Black Ox could still make the playoffs.

In C-League the Murder Hornets have secured their playoff spot. No one else has secured a spot yet. Blue Moon are only one point away from securing their spot. No one has been eliminated from playoff contention yet in C-League. Reno Fire Hosers are loss or shootout loss away from being eliminated from playoff contention. They would have to win all of their remaining games to make the playoffs. There are only four points separating second place from fifth place. With four to six points still up for grabs second through sixth place could all change.

In D-League the Slappy Gilmores have secured a playoff spot. No one else has secured their spot yet. Reno Pond Hockey is one point away from securing their spot. Mid-Ice Crisis is two points away from securing their spot. No one has been eliminated in D-League yet. Fourth through sixth place are only separated by one point. It is possible for second through fifth place to change completely.

In E-League Trash Pandas and Battle Born have secured playoff spots. Bangerang is only two points away from securing their playoff spot. All they need to do is win one game. Satans Gatekeepers have been eliminated. No one else has been eliminated yet. NPU/TKO Motorsports is still in the playoff race. With only three points separating third through fifth place, anyone of those teams could be eliminated or could be in the playoffs.
