Reno Fire Hosers Primary Logo
The Reno Fire Hosers’ primary logo is a dragon with the team name in front of it. The team name Fire Hosers makes a lot of sense for a Fire Department hockey team. Hosers is a hockey term and firefighters work with hoses. The dragon identity comes from this idea that the dragon represents fire and as firefighters when they put out fires they slay the dragon. The team colors are deep blue, fire red, silver, and white. The branding for this concept was inspired by the Chicago Fire and Montreal Canadians.

Reno Fire Hosers Alternate Logos
The Reno Fire Hosers do not have a secondary logo. The first alternate logo is the dragon from the primary logo. The second alternate logo is a Maltese Cross with the team name and an R for Reno. The third alternate logo is a Maltese Cross with the team name and a dragon head from the same dragon that’s in the primary logo. The fourth alternate logo is a Maltese Cross with the team name and Reno.
The first two logos in the bottom row are for the City jersey. The first logo in this set is the Reno Fire Department logo with a tan background. The other logo in this set is a wordmark logo that says fire. The City logos and jersey use the same blue, a darker red, and tan. The last alternate logo is the dragon from the primary logo in white.

Reno Fire Hosers Throwback Logos
In this concept, the top row would have been the Reno Fire Hosers original logos. The first logo is a circle with the team name and abbreviation. The other two logos in this set are abbreviations that would have been on jerseys. These logos would have been introduced along with the creation of the team in the 60s. The Reno Fire Hosers were after after earlier attempts to create a Reno Fire Department team failed, and the Reno Fire Department stepped in to create a more official team.
The first logo in the middle row is a dragon in front of a triangle with the team name at the bottom. The next logo is the team name from that logo. The third logo is an R logo for Reno. the last logo in this row is a dragon in front of a triangle. In this concept, during the mid-90s the Reno Fire Hosers decided to rebrand. The logos in the middle row would have been this rebrand. The first logo in the second row would have been their new primary logo. The rebrand would have happened because new management wanted to update the look of the team. As part of this they would have updated their colors to what they are now. The reason for the updated colors would have been to separate themselves from the Dough Boys (police team) colors.
The first logo in the bottom row is a dragon with the team name underneath it. The next logo is the same thing with a white outline. The third logo in the bottom row is an R with FH in front of it. RFH is the team abbreviation. This logo was inspired by the Reno Fire Department logo. The logo following it is the same with a white outline. The fifth logo on the bottom row is the team name with dragon claws. The last two logos in this row are dragon heads.
