Up next in the Reno Ice Adult League concept is The Guardians. In this concept, The Guardians are the Nevada National Guard team. Their players are active duty and veterans of the Nevada National Guard. The Nevada National Guard also finance The Guardians.
In this concept, The Guardians play in the C-League along with the NPU/TKO Motorsports, Reno Fire Hosers, Revision Brewery, and Satans Gatekeepers.

The Guardians Primary Logo
The Guardians primary logo is a battle-damaged spartan helmet infused with a hockey helmet. The spartan theming represents the ideals of strength, loyalty, courage, and honor. The hockey helmet was added to make The Guardians spartan helmet stand out from the countless other spartan helmet logos. The Guardians colors are black and silver. The branding for this concept was inspired by the Oakland/Los Angeles/Las Vegas Raiders, San Jose State, and Jofa.

The Guardians Secondary Logo
The Guardians secondary logo is their primary logo with a white outline. This was done for applications with a dark background.

The Guardians Alternate Logos
The Guardians first alternate logo in the top row is the primary logo and team name integrated into a shield. The other logo in the top row is a recolored version of the shield logo. The two logos in the middle row are wordmark logos in black and silver. The first logo on the bottom row is a shield with NV and part of the state flag inside of it. This logo was inspired by the Nevada National Guard logo. It was created for the City jersey. The second logo in the bottom row is the Nevada National Guard logo. That logo completes the City logos set. The last logo in the bottom row is all black version of the primary logo. It was designed for the Surge jersey.

The Guardians Throwback Logos
The Guardians first throwback logo in the top row is a spartan helmet with Nevada and a spear behind it. The second logo is the same logo without the spear. In this concept, these logos would have been The Guardians original logos. They have been introduced in the early 60s. The Guardians got their start as a part of the Nevada National Guard recreation program.
The third logo in the top row is an image of a spartan with the team name inside of a shield. In this concept, this logo would have replaced the initial two logos only a year after they were introduced.
The fourth logo in the top row is a spartan helmet with the team name inside of a shield. The fifth logo in the top row is the same with a white outline. The last two logos in this row are wordmark logos. In this concept, the last four logos in the top row were part of a rebrand that took place a year after the original logos were replaced. The fourth logo in the top row would have been the new primary logo. The Guardians had three different branding changes in their first three years.
The first two logos in the second row to the top are spartan helmets in black and silver. The next two logos are monogram logos. The last two logos in that row are script wordmark logos. In this concept, The Guardians would have rebranded in the mid-80s. This row of logos would have been that rebrand. Both of the spartan helmets would have been interchangeable as the primary logo depending on if the background was light or dark.
The first logo in the second row to the bottom is a spartan helmet with the team name inside of a shield. The second logo in that row is the same with a white outline. The last two logos in this row are wordmark logos. In this concept, this would have been The Guardians fifth rebrand. The Guardians didn’t have too much success on the ice with their last rebrand. In the mid-90s they introduced set of logos as their new brand. Around this time the Nevada National Guard would restructure the team to have a board of governors. Prior to this a single person from the Nevada National Guard was in charge of the team.
The first logo in the bottom row is a spartan helmet inside of a shield with a spear in the background. The second logo in the bottom row is the same logo without the spear. The next two logos are the spartan helmets from the last two logos. The last two logos are wordmark logos. In this concept, The Guardians would have rebranded in the mid-to-late 2000s. They would have rebranded in an effort to update their team identity. The first logo in the bottom row would have been their new primary logo. As part of the rebrand they brought back their script wordmark logos from their mid-80s rebrand.

The Guardians Jerseys
The Dark jersey is black and silver. It has the secondary logo on the front of the jersey. On the shoulders are the black alternate shield logos. The Light jersey is white, black, and silver. The Light jersey uses a similar template to the Dark jersey but adds some stripes to the bottom of the jersey. On the front of the Light jersey is the primary logo. On the shoulders are the silver alternate shield logos.
The 3RD jersey is silver, black, and white. On the front of the jersey is the black alternate shield logo.
The City jersey is blue, gold, and white. On the front of the jersey is the Nevada National Guard logo. On the shoulders is the NV shield logo. The City jersey is inspired by the Nevada National Guard.
The Retro jersey is black, white, and silver. On the front of the jersey is the throwback primary logo from the mid-90s with the white outline.
The Surge jersey is silver and black. It has the alternate all-black recolor of the primary logo on the front.
