It’s time to recap the C-League. In the Reno Ice Adult League there are three divisions. These divisions are like levels in baseball. The divisions are commonly referred to as leagues. The highest level is A-League. The middle level is B-League. The lowest level is C-League.
C-League has five teams. NPU/TKO Motorsports, Reno Fire Hosers, Revision Brewery, Satans Gatekeepers, and The Guardians.
C-League Season Format
A quick recap on the season format, each team plays 12 regular season games over four months. For C-League that means everyone plays each other three times. In the C-League postseason, the top four teams make the playoffs. The losers in the playoff semifinals play in a bowl game. The loser of that bowl game plays the 5th place team in another bowl game.
In part one of the RIAL concept series, I said there were only four teams in C-League. I was wrong. I don’t know why I said this. The postseason format is different here than what I said it was earlier in this series. As usual, all of this only exists in this concept series.

Primary Logos
NPU/TKO Motorsports primary logo has a star and circle shape. Inside the logo are the team name and a sports car silhouette. At the bottom of the logo is a banner that says Washoe County Sheriff’s on it. In this concept, NPU/TKO Motorsports are the Washoe County Sheriff’s team. They are primarily made up of Washoe County Sheriff officers but also includes Sheriff officers from the surrounding area.
Reno Fire Hosers primary logo is a dragon with the team name in front of it. In this concept, the Reno Fire Hosers are the Reno Fire Department team. The team is primarily made up of Reno firefighters but also includes firefighters from the surrounding area.
Revision Brewing Company’s primary logo is a shape with the team name in front of it. It is the same logo as the company logo. Revision Brewery sponsored the free agent teams in the first season of the RIAL.
Satans Gatekeepers primary logo is a skull with horns in front of hockey sticks with tridents.
The Guardians primary logo is a battle-damaged spartan helmet infused with a hockey helmet. In this concept, The Guardians are the Nevada National Guard team. Their players are active duty and veterans of the Nevada National Guard. The Nevada National Guard also finances The Guardians.
Jerseys
Quick jersey recap, in the RIAL concept there are no home and away jerseys. Dark and Light jerseys are interchangeable home and away jerseys. 3rd jerseys are alt jerseys. City jerseys connect the team to the community. Retro jerseys are 90’s or 2000’s. Surge jerseys are color rush jerseys. All jerseys can be used for any game as they are not the same primary color. The home team gets first choice on jerseys.
As small as a C-League is there are three teams that use black in their colors and three teams that use red in their colors. NPU/TKO Motorsports was almost black and red too. There are eight red and eight black jerseys in C-League. There are 30 total jerseys. All of the C-League teams use their primary logo on their Light jersey. All of the Light jerseys are white. Revision Brewery is the only team in C-League to have an alternate identity for their 3RD jersey. NPU/TKO Motorsports and Revision Brewery are the only teams to have to create alternate throwback logos. All of the City and Surge jerseys could be used against each other.
Dark Jerseys
The Dark jerseys are blue, red, black, and green. NPU/TKO Motorsports have an alternate logo on the front of their Dark jersey. Reno Fire Hosers and Revision Brewery have their primary logos on the front of their Dark jerseys. Satans Gatekeepers and The Guardians have their secondary logos on the front of their jerseys. They all have shoulder logos.
My favorite Dark jersey here is Revision Brewery. NPU/TKO Motorsports comes in a close second. The best matchup here would be NPU/TKO Motorsports and Revision Brewery.
Light Jerseys
All of the C-League Light jerseys are white. NPU/TKO Motorsports, Reno Fire Hosers, and Satans gatekeepers use the same template as their Dark jerseys. Revision Brewery and The Guardians use modified versions of their dark jersey templates. They all use their primary logos on the front. They all have shoulder logos.
My favorite Light jersey here is NPU/TKO Motorsports.
3RD Jerseys
Black, red, and silver make up the 3RD jerseys in C-League. They all use alternate logos on the front of their jerseys. NPU/TKO Motorsports, Revision Brewery, and Satans Gatekeepers use shoulder logos. Reno Fire Hosers, Revision Brewery, and Satans Gatekeepers all use logos that are not on any of their other jerseys. Revision Brewery uses an alternate identity for their 3RD jersey. Both NPU/TKO Motorsports and The Guardians use shields on the front of their 3RD jerseys.
My favorite here is the Reno Fire Hosers. Their 3RD jersey was actually close to becoming their City jersey until I decided that their City jersey should work in contrast to the Dough Boys City jersey. The best matchup here would be Satans Gatekeepers and The Guardians.
City Jerseys
Green, red, white, black, and blue makes up the colors of the C-League City jerseys. The Reno Fire Hosers are the closest to using their normal colors. All of the C-League City jerseys use logos made just for their City Jerseys. NPU/TKO Motorsports, Reno Fire Hosers, and The Guardians have shoulder logos. All of the C-League City jerseys can be used against each other.
NPU/TKO Motorsports City jersey is inspired by the Washoe County Sheriff’s uniforms. The Reno Fire Hosers City jersey was designed to represent the Reno Fire Department. It was also designed to go with the Dough Boys City jersey. Revision Brewery’s City jersey is inspired by Artown. In this concept, Revision Brewery’s City jersey was made in partnership with Artown. The Satans Gatekeepers City jersey is inspired by the Carson City Flag. In this concept, Satans Gatekeepers are from Carson City. The Guardians City jersey is inspired by the Nevada National Guard.
My favorite City jersey here is the NPU/TKO Motorsports jersey. The Reno Fire Hosers jersey is in a close second. The best matchup here would be Reno Fire Hosers and Satans Gatekeepers.
Retro Jerseys
All of the C-League Retro jerseys are Dark jerseys. Three of them are black and two of them are red. Reno Fire Hosers, Satans Gatekeepers, and The Guardians use throwback logos. NPU/TKO Motorsports and Revision Brewery use alternate throwback logos. In this concept NPU/TKO Motorsports and Revision Brewery are not old enough to have 90s or early 2000s logos. The Guardians are the only team that do not have shoulder logos on the Retro jersey.
NPU/TKO Motorsports Retro jersey was designed to look how their 90s jersey might have looked. In this concept, the Reno Fire Hosers Retro jersey would have been their mid-90s jersey. Revision Brewery’s Retro jersey was designed to look like what they would have if they had a 90’s jersey. In this concept, Satans Gatekeepers Retro jersey would have been their primary jersey in the late 90s. The Guardians Retro jersey is their away jersey from the mid-90s.
My favorite here is NPU/TKO Motorsports. Their jersey just screams the 90s to me. Tied for second place are Revision Brewery and Satans Gatekeepers. The best matchup here would probably be Reno Fire Hosers and Revision Brewery.
Surge Jerseys
The C-League Surge jerseys are white, red, black, green, and silver. They all use elements from their primary logos on their Surge jerseys. NPU/TKO Motorsports and Revision Brewery are the only ones to use shoulder logos. They can all be used against each other.
My favorite Surge jersey here is Satans Gatekeepers. I think Reno Fire Hosers and Revision Brewery would have the best matchup.
