Another Reno Ice Adult League Fall 2022 Playoff post. In the A-League the title race just got interesting as the playoffs stay tightly contested. In the C-League hopes of an undefeated season are gone while the playoff picture is still unclear. In E-League the title race is so close it’s going to come down to the end of the season while the last spot of in the playoffs is up for grabs.

A-League
None of the teams in the A-League have qualified for the playoffs yet. None of the teams have been eliminated from playoff contention yet. Whisky Dekes has six points. The top team only has twelve points. With three games remaining six points are still on the line. Technically any of the four teams in a playoff spot right now can be eliminated. If Whisky dekes had not won their last game RT Janitorial and the Reno Gamblers would have clinched their playoff spots.
The Free Agents could get into a playoff spot if they win all of their remaining games and the Mustangs and Whisky Dekes lose all of their remaining games. They would not be able to catch the BWD Tooth Fairies though. The Mustangs and Whisky Dekes are tied for the last playoff spot. The playoff picture should start coming into focus next week.
RT Janitorial leads the A-League title race. They knocked off the Reno Gamblers. The Reno Gamblers just had back-to-back losses. That caused them to slip out of first. The A-League Standings are really close this week. I think that will change. I think teams will start to put more distance between each other.

C-League
In a four-team playoff situation, The Murder Hornets are the first team to secure a playoff spot. The Slappy Gilmores are close but not safe from elimination. Black Ox and Desert Dogs are tied to round out the four-team playoffs. There is enough distance between them and being eliminated that they can feel good about their playoff chances. They are not safe from being eliminated but they are two wins ahead with only three or four games remaining. In a four-team playoff situation, Q&D Construction and the Reno Fire Hosers are eliminated from playoff contention.
In a six-team playoff situation, The Murder Hornets and the Slappy Gilmores have secured playoff spots. Black Ox and the Desert Dogs are only one point (shootout loss or win) away from securing playoff spots. They are still not safe from elimination. That could change this week. Blue Moon and the Lagers have the last two playoff spots in this situation. United Skates are only two points (one win) away from a playoff spot. They are still contenders. Q&D Construction would have to win all of their remaining games to tie for the last playoff spot. The Reno Fire Hosers would have to win all of their remaining games with three of the teams ahead of them not getting more than seven total points this season.
In the title race, the Murder Hornets currently lead. The Slappy Gilmores lost their first game this season. That ended their hopes of an undefeated season. The Slappy Gilmores do have a game up on the Murder Hornets. Black Ox and the Desert Dogs are still in the mix for the title race.

E-League
In E-League Trash Pandas, Bangarang, and Battle Born have clinched playoff spots. The Milkshakes are the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention. If Long Drink wins this week and Satan’s Gatekeepers lose, Long Drink will secure the last playoff spot.
In the title race, the Trash Pandas currently lead. the Trash Pandas, Battle Born, and Bangarang are all within two points (one win) of each other. The title race will come down to the final two games of the regular season. One win or loss for any of these teams could be the difference between winning the title or not. For playoff applications, being first could mean an almost guaranteed entry into the playoff championship game.
