Reno Pond Hockey RIAL Winter 2022-23 Roster

After months of waiting our next season is here. Reno Pond Hockey has returned for the Reno Ice Adult League Winter 2022/23 season. A new season means a new roster. Despite the success during the RIAL Summer 2022 season, a lot of players have decided not to return. The main reason players did not return this season is their desire to play at higher levels. The other reason usually is not having the time to commit to play in the RIAL.

This is the second season in a row for Reno Pond Hockey where we have had to essentially rebuild the team. Eleven players are returning for Reno Pond Hockey this season. Twelve players will not be returning for Reno Pond Hockey this season. Just because they are not playing with RPH this season does not mean they are not playing in the RIAL this season or that they will not return to RPH in the future. Eight new players have been added to the Reno Pond Hockey roster. Those new players are D-League free agents, E-League call ups, and C-League players sent down or on loan.

One of the biggest changes in the roster is that #35 Clint McCoy who has been the Reno Pond Hockey starting goalie for the last three seasons is moving up. #35 Clint McCoy will be headed back to B-League. He will still be a part of the organization as a backup and the Reno Pond Hockey inline goalie. Replacing Clint as the starting goalie will be #40 Justin Farmer. Justin was a backup/sub last season. He has been the starting goalie for the E-League team Bangarang. He did just win the E-League Championship as well. He will be bringing that experience in net to Reno Pond Hockey this season.

The Reno Pond Hockey RIAL roster can be seen on zacelectrifly.com at anytime here. The Reno Pond Hockey RIAL roster can also be seen on the league website here.
