On February 16th, 2023 the Reno Ice Adult League announced that the RIAL Spring 2023 season will start on March 13th. The RIAL Winter 2022/23 Championship games are set for March 11th. That will give the league an off-season lasting one day. The regular season will again be 10 games. This season is supposed to be 11 weeks. Just under three months. The playoffs are set to start the first week June.
For this season all five leagues are set to play. That is coming from the league. If they keep six-team leagues that will allow them to have up to thirty teams this week. I do not know what they are going to do. If they are going to reorganize the league or move teams around. The C-League had nine teams last season. Three of those teams will probably move around. From what I have heard from the league so far it does not look like they are going to make a lot of changes. I think the leagues will stay at six team. I think the playoffs will stay the way they are.
Here is what the league could do for next season. I included every team that played in the last two seasons except the Free Agents from the A-League who did not return for the Winter 2022/23 season.
