This is not a regular playoff picture update. The RIAL Winter 2022/23 A-League regular season finished last night. I wanted to just get an update out there on what is going on with the A-League playoffs.

RT Janitorial, the Mustangs, and the Reno Gamblers already secured playoff spots going into last night. The last playoff spot was still up for grabs. The GBB Tooth Fairies and Whiskey Dekes were still fighting to get into the playoffs. The GBB Tooth Fairies were in the last playoff spot by one point heading into the game. If they won they would get the last playoff spot. If Whiskey Dekes won in regulation they would get the last playoff spot. If Whiskey Dekes won in a shootout they would tie for the last playoff spot. The team advancing to the playoffs would be determined by tiebreakers. The GBB Tooth Fairies and Whiskey Dekes went head to head last night in battle that saw the loser get eliminated from playoff contention. The GBB Tooth Fairies would win the game 7-2. The GBB Tooth Fairies won the last playoff spot. Whiskey Dekes was eliminated from playoff contention.
In the other A-League game last night the RIAL Winter 2022/23 A-League regular season title winner would be crowned. RT Janitorial played the Reno Gamblers for the A-League regular season title. RT Janitorial was in the first place. The Reno Gamblers had a chance to take it from them. Both teams were tied. The winner would walk away with the A-League regular season title. The Reno Gamblers went all in but it would not be enough. RT Janitorial was able to win close 5-4 battle. RT Janitorial has won the RIAL Winter 2022/23 A-League regular season title and will be the #1 seed in the A-League playoffs.
