The schedule for the next Reno Ice Adult League has been released. The next season is the RIAL Spring 2023 season. The full schedule can be seen on the Reno Ice Adult League website here. A full-release post will be coming soon for Reno Pond Hockey. The season will begin on March, 13th. The season will end on Friday, May 26th, 2023. C-League and E-League will make their returns. All five leagues (A-League, B-League, C-League, D-League, E-League) will be playing this season.
The Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 season will start on Monday, March 13th, 2023. Each team will play ten regular season games. This is how it how it has been going back to the RIAL Summer 2022 season. The A-League will continue to have five teams. B-League returns after a hiatus for the RIAL Fall 2022 season. The B-League will be expanding to eight teams. During the RIAL Winter 2022/23 season they had six teams. The C-League is back after a hiatus for the RIAL Winter 2022/23 season. They are returning with six teams. During the RIAL Fall 2022 season the C-League had nine teams. D-League will will be expanding to eight teams. During the RIAL Winter 2022/23 season they had six teams. The E-League also returns after a hiatus for the RIAL Winter 2022/23 season. They are returning with six teams. The regular season will end on Friday, May 26th, 2023.
The A-League will start its season on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023. Doughboy’s Donuts! will take on the GBB Tooth Fairies at 6:15pm.
The B-League will start on Monday, March 13th, 2023. B-League will open up the season with a doubleheader. Silver State Wire will face the Reno Fire Hosers (B) at 6:00pm. Then Carson City Hyundai will play the Murder Hornets at 7:30pm.
The C-League will tsart its season on Thursday, March 16th, 2023. They will have a triple header to open up the season. The Desert Dogs will take on Black Ox at 6:45pm. The United Skates will take on the Pale Ales at 8:15pm. Blue Moon will play the Slappy Gilmores at 9:45pm.
The D-League will start its season on Friday, March 17th, 2023. The Reno Fire Hosers will take on Q & D Construction at 8:45pm.
The E-League season will start on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023. They will start their season with a triple header too. MoFo’s Pizza will take on Battle Born at 6:00pm. Satan’s Gatekeepers will take on the Trash Pandas at 7:30pm. Long Drink will take on Bangarang at 9:00pm.
The playoff format should remain the same. It should be a four-team playoff. The top four teams would make the playoffs in a four-team playoff. With that format as well there should be semifinal games followed by each league’s championships. The postseason will start Monday, May 29th, 2023. May 27th and 28th are open on the schedule. This is probably to allow for rescheduled games if needed.
