The RIAL Playoff schedule was announced earlier this week. Reno Pond Hockey being the #1 seed will face the #4 seed Jurassic Pucks in the RIAL Spring 2023 D-League Playoff Semifinals. This is the second season in a row where Reno Pond Hockey will face the Jurassic Pucks in the D-League Semifinals. The game will be on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023. The game start is set for 9:00pm. This is the same D-League Semifinal matchup for Reno Pond Hockey as last season.

If Reno Pond Hockey win they will advance to the RIAL Spring 2023 D-League Championship game. That game will be on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023. The start time for that is set for 1:30pm. The D-League Championship is part of Championship Saturday. As part of Championship Saturday the E-League, the D-League, and the C-League will play their championship games back to back.

If Reno Pond Hockey make the D-League Championship game, that will be their third straight appearance. Only a few teams in the RIAL have ever made a championship game three times in a row. Reno Pond Hockey will face The Guardians or Mid-Ice Crisis if they make the D-League Championship game.

The other RIAL Spring 2023 D-League Playoff Semifinal game is between the #2 seed The Guardians and the #3 Seed Mid-Ice Crisis. That game will be immediately after Reno Pond Hockey’s Semifinal game. Just like in the Reno Pond Hockey game, the winner of the second semifinal game will advance to the RIAL Spring 2023 D-League Playoff Championship.
