Expectations remain high for the third season in a row. Reno Pond Hockey has won back to back regular season titles and D-League championships. They have also won their last twenty three games going back to the RIAL Winter 2022/23 season. For the third season in a row Reno Pond Hockey is the team to beat. Every team will bring their best against Reno Pond Hockey again this season. Last season Reno Pond Hockey had their eyes set on another championship. This season the goal is to do it again. The expectations right now are that they will be in the hunt for another regular season title and in the hunt for another championship game appearance. Reno Pond Hockey has done really well the last two season with handling the pressure. It feels like the last two seasons and this season have all just run together in one big season since there hasn’t been a lot of time off.

Reno Pond Hockeys joined the Reno Ice Adult League as a founding member for the Summer 2021 season. Reno Pond Hockey was one of the original RIAL teams. Reno Pond Hockey played its first three seasons in B-League. In the summer of 2022, the RIAL restructured and Reno Pond Hockey was sent down to D-League. Reno Pond Hockey has made the playoffs four times. Reno Pond Hockey has made the championship game three times. Reno Pond Hockey has won two regular season titles and two championships.

Last season Reno Pond Hockey finished the regular season in the first place. They went undefeated with a record of 12-0-0. They had the most goals in the league with 85. They had the least goals allowed with 16. In the playoffs, they won the championship game. Reno Pond Hockey has won back to back regular season titles and championships. That is the first time they have done that. They have also won twenty three straight games going back to the Winter 2022/23 season. That is the longest winning streak in Reno Pond Hockey history.

RIAL D-League Spring 2023:

Reno Pond Hockey has an all-time record of 37-31-0. Reno Pond Hockey has scored 275 goals. Last season they scored almost half of their all time goals. Reno Pond Hockey has allowed 220 goals. Below is what our Summer schedule looks like. There are still eight teams in the D-League. The top four will make the playoffs. There will be ten regular season games. Reno Pond Hockey will play three teams twice and four teams once.

Reno Pond Hockey play The Guardians on Jun. 11th at 8:00pm and on Aug. 21st at 9:15pm. The Guardians came in 3rd place last season. They lost to Reno Pond Hockey in the championship game.
