The Reno Ice Adult League Fall 2023 season is now in week two. It’s time for more power rankings. Eleven of the eighteen teams moved this week. Every team played in week one. After week one eight teams were still undefeated. One team had still not lost a game in regulation. Nine teams were winless after week one. There was one shutout in week one. There was one shootout in week one.
I do not have the standing today as they are wrong on the league website since the first three games were not reported.

The Doughboy’s Donuts! lead the A-League power rankings after beating the Reno Gamblers. The Whiskey Dekes moved up after getting back to back wins. The Reno Gamblers moved down after losing to the Doughboy’s Donuts!. The Reno Mustangs moved down after a loss and a win. The GBB Misfits and the Free Agents did not move after losing their first games of the season.

The Murder Hornets lead the C-League power rankings after a win over Black Ox. The Desert Dogs moved up after a shootout win over Oktoberfest. Blue Moon moved up after winning their first game of the season. Oktoberfest moved down after losing to the Desert Dogs in a shootout. Black Ox moved up based on the score line after their loss to the Murder Hornets. United Skates lost their first game of the season but they moved down because Black Ox moved up. Based on the first week scores it looks like it will be another close season in the C-League.

The Nevada Police Foundation lead the E-League power rankings after a blowout win over the Holy Pucks. Battle Born moved up after winning their first game of the season. Long Drink moved up after getting the first shutout of the season in a statement win over the Grrrowlers. The Grrrowlers moved down after a very disappointing first game. The Statan’s Gatekeepers and the Holy Pucks did not move after they both lost their first games of the season.
