The Reno Ice Raiders announced their schedule for the 2023-24 season today. The Reno Ice Raiders played in the Mountain Hockey League last season. I think that will continue. There is no word on if there will be a playoffs or championship. According to the MHL instagram the top two team were supposed to play in a championship at the end of the season. That did not happen. I do not know if there will be a post season this year.

The schedule release comes shortly after Tim Tookey was announced as the head coach. The Reno Ice Raiders will be playing twenty eight games for the 2023-24 season. The season starts on Friday, October 20th, 2023 against the Chicago Top Shelf. The season will come to and end on Saturday, April 6th against the Fort Worth Barracudas. The Ice Raiders will be playing twenty home games and only eight away games. That includes ten straight home games.

according to the Mountain Hockey League website, the Reno Ice Raiders, the McCall Mountaineers, the Breckenridge Vipers, the Sun Valley Suns, the Vail Yeti, the Park City Pioneers, the Jackson Hole Moose, and the Bozeman Stingers are the eight teams that make up the league. The Rock Springs Roughnecks, the Sin City Kings, the Santa Rosa Growlers, and the San Diego Super Hornets are the four probationary teams in the league. Those teams were probationary last season and may be in the league this season. There was twenty four exhibition teams last season. Only the league team games count in the standing but the Ice Raiders make no distinction between teams on their schedule.
