Zac Electrifly

The High Desert Archery 2023 Jersey is gold and black. It has a black stripe pattern on the sleeves. The collar is black and yellow. There are also black stripes on the sides of the jersey. The High Desert Archery logo is on the front with the Zac Electrifly Shop logo. On the right sleeve is the Nevada flag. On the left sleeve is the Reno flag. On the top of the back is a qr code for High Desert Archery. On the bottom of the back is the High Desert Archery web adress. The jersey is breathable. It has a tear away tag. It has a stretch fabric. It is made from recycled fabric. It is moisture wicking.

This jersey was designed to stand out amongst other archery jerseys. It has some soccer influence in the design. It is less busy than a lot of other archery jerseys. Gold was chosen instead of black because one of the issues with the former black jerseys was they heat up during outdoor competitions. Yellow should also stand out at bigger competitions like the Vegas Shoot. A lot of those jerseys have a more muted or dark color as the base. Gold will stand out amongst the black jerseys, blue jerseys, and red jerseys. Another advantage this design has is that it is a fully custom design. A lot of other archery teams used stock designs.

The Nevada Archery Jersey 2023 is blue, gold, white, and green. It is in the same colors as the Nevada Flag. It has a geometric pattern on the front, back, and sides. The sleeves also have a yellow stripe. A new Nevada Archery logo is on the front. The new logo is a shield with an NV monogram. NV is the state abbreviation. Above the monogram is the state name, Nevada. Below the monogram is “archery” with an arrow banner. On the right sleeve is the Nevada flag. Like the other jersey it is breathable, has a tear away tag, has a stretch fabric, is made from recycled fabric, and it is moisture wicking.

The design process for this jersey was simple. Going into it I knew what I wanted to do. I set out to make this jersey for people from Nevada as an alternative to the High Desert Archery 2023 Jersey and for Nevadans who are unaffiliated with High Desert Archery. I also knew I was going to make a new logo for this. I wanted to make a simple logo that was easy to understand yet felt contemporary. The monogram is at the front of the design with “Nevada Archery” being the secondary piece that explains that it is. I wanted to explain what it was without needing something over obvious like a bow or arrow. It all comes together with a shield. I wanted to add green into the logo and the shield accomplished that. For the jersey I knew going into it that I wanted something that looked contemporary. Geometric patterns on jerseys are very contemporary. The final product turned out really nice. The soccer influence is all over this jersey. A lot of 2022 and 20223 soccer Jerseys have some kind of pattern on them. Those patterns make up majority of the jersey. The logo could also work as a soccer crest. Either way I am really happy with the way these jerseys turned out.
