The first quarter of 2023 (January 1st through March 31st) was solid. January was a little slow following December 2022. From there things were looking up in February. There was a solid jump in views and output in March. Outside of January there was an increase in views every month compared to 2022. January 2023 was still the second highest January for views I have ever had. I was optomistic moving forward.

April was the first month since January to not only decrease in views but not hit the target. It did come close to the goal though. May continue to decrease in views. April to May was the first time in 2023 that I missed y target views for two months in a row and saw a decrease in views for consecutive months. That was despite getting a massive forty seven posts out. That was the most posts in a single month since February 2022. June got me back on target. It was the first month to get an increase in views and to get reach my target since March. Despite missing some targets and decreases I am overall happy with how quarter two turned out. I ended up doubling quarter two of 2022. Again after quarter two I was optomistic with a lot of stuff I wanted to get done.

What happened in July? I got thirty four posts out in July. That was eight more posts than I got out in June. It was an increase of eighteen posts from July 2022. The RIAL Summer 2023 season was goin on. My first post about the Arizona Coyotes blew up. Lake Tahoe announced their ECHL team. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 started. I started my FIFA Women’s World Cup ice hockey concept. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 took up a lot of my focus in July.

What Happened in August? I got thirty posts out in August. That was four less than in July. That was seven more post than I got out in August 2022. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 finished up. The RIAL Summer 2023 season and playoffs finished up. There was also some NHL, Nerf, and Reno Ice Raiders news I covered.

What happened in September? I only got seventeen posts out in September. That was thirteen less than I got out in August. That was five more posts than I got out in September 2022. The RIAL Fall 2023 season started. I got the Trash Pandas concept out which was the first RIAL Concept post since June and the only one in quarter three. I got out three more FIFA Women’s World Cup Ice Hockey concept posts. I also covered some Oakland Athletics news, more Reno Ice Raiders news, USA Archery Nevada news, more NHL news, and I also covered Reno’s new arena.

July saw an increase in views from June. There was a total of 1,652 views. It was 902 more views than in July 2022. That is an increase of 220%. It was 615 more views than in June of 2023. That is an increase of 59% from June to July. This was the highest July every in views. July 2023 the second highest ever month in views. July also marked back to back months where I hit my target for views.

August saw a decrease in views from June but still hit the target. There was a total of 1,059 views. It was 279 more views than in August 2022. That is an increase of 35%. It was 593 less views than in July 2023. That is a decrease of 64% from July to August. That was the second highest August in views ever.

September saw the a decrease in views for the second month in a row. That was the first time since May that views decreased in back to back months. There was a total of 1,019 views. It was 2019 more views than in September 2023. That is an increase of 27%. It was 40 less views than in August 2022. That is a decrease of 7% from August to September. This was the second highest September in views ever.

This quarter saw a huge boost thanks to July. This was the first quarter of 2023 where all three months reached their targets. This was the second quarter in a row where all three months were increased compared to 2022. Quarter three of 2023 had a total of 3,730 views. It had 1,400 more views than quarter three of 2022. That was an increase of 60%. Quarter three of 2023 had 539 more views than in quarter one of 2023. That is a 16% increase. Quarter three of 2023 had 799 more views than in quarter two of 2023. That is a 17% increase. This is the first quarter of 2023 to hit it’s quarterly goal of 3,00 views.

So far zacelectrifly.com has had 6,122 views after two quarters. I am on track to hit 12,224 views by the end of 2023. That would make 2023 the largest viewed year so far. I am only 2,660 views behind the total views of 2022. I will probably pass that number in quarter three of 2022. After two quarters in 2023 there has been an increase of 2,451 views. That is a 66% increase. While these number may not be big relative to other people it shows the growth is there.

There was a lot of focus in this quarter on the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. I have not added to my American Hockey League concept sereis since April. I am working on that. I originally wanted to get that done by the end of the 2022/23 hockey season. I still have most of the teams to finish but I will get that done hopefully by the end of this year. I have not finished my FIFA Women’s World Cup Ice Hockey concept series. I originally wanted to get that done by the end of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. I should have that done by the end of this month. Season two of my Reno Ice Adult League concept sereis was originally supposed to be finished before the FIFA Women’s World Cup. At the latest I wanted to finish it by the end of last month. That has not happened. It should be done by the end of this month. My new advertising plan which I talked about at the end of my last update has been postponed indefinitely. I just do not have the time or money to focus on that at this time. I do not see the money being available for any marketing until at least 2024. The soonest that I can implement any type of paid marketing strategy is likely quarter two of 2024.

I was hoping to have all of the concept series I started earlier this year to be done by October. That way I could move on to my next big concept series. I was thinking of doing an ECHL concept series like my AHL concept series. However with the announcement of Lake Tahoe getting an ECHL team, I am going to delay my future ECHL concept series until after the 2023/24 season. My next big concept series will be an NCAA ice hockey concept series. I also wanted to start season three of my RIAL concept series by this point but since season two of that series is not completed yet, that has been delayed. I did start a Conceptober series on here. That will be the only new Concept series on here until I finish my current AHL concept. As far as concept series go, the ECHL series is coming next year, the NCAA series will be coming either in this quarter in the first quarter of 2024, season three of my RIAL concept series will be coming either late this quarter or early 2024.

Outside of concepts, hockey season is back. I want to do more news and stuff on that this season. I have been trying to start some kind of Reno hockey podcast for a couple of years now so I should be starting that soon. Reno Pond Hockey highlights and social should be coming soon. I am trying to get more out there on social. There is some exciting archery and nerf stuff that is going on as well. I am also working on getting back to live streaming and putting out other videos on youtube.
