The 2024 NHL Winter Classic logo is the same for this concept as in real life. The logos were fully announced back in June. The whole event has a nautical theme. The main logo for the event is designed to look like a compass pointing northwest. For more on the logos check click here.

The 2024 NHL Winter Classic will be at T-Mobile Park. T-Mobile Park is home to the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. It has a capacity of 47,929. This will be the first non baseball sporting event at the ballpark since 2003. A sellout would make this game the seventh largest attended NHL Winter Classic.

For the Seattle Kraken I created a logo designed after their leaked logo for this event. It is a recolored and modified version of their primary logo. It does not have the tentacles. It adds the team name to the logo. It is inspired by the logo used by the Seattle Metropolitans of the Pacific Coast Hockey League.

For the Vegas Golden Knights I created a V logo that says “knights”. I was trying to create a logo that was inspired by vintage hockey logos and vintage Las Vegas logos.

For Seattle I gave them a deep sea blue jersey with ice blue, shadow blue, and wheat colored stripes. There is also red in the numbers and on the collar. The design of the jersey is based on the Seattle Metropolitans jersey. On the front is the Seattle Kraken logo I created for this concept. On the shoulder is the 2024 Winter Classic logo. On the collar is “2021” for their first year in the NHL. I replaced the current NHL logo with the original NHL logo.

For Vegas I gave them a sand colored jersey with gold stripes and red cuffs. The numbers and part of the collar is black. I based the design of this jersey on several vintage hockey jerseys. On the front os the Vegas Golden Knights logo I created for this concept. On the shoulder is the 2024 NHL Winter classic logo. On the collar is “2017” for their first year in the NHL. I replaced the current NHL logo with the original NHL logo.
