Again I used the Wheel of Names to pick a team. I used both Wikipedia and HockeyDB to find all of the teams. HockeyDB did not have a lot of the teams that were relocated or never played. Out of the thirty six teams the winner ended up being the Quebec Nordiques. The Quebec Nordiques were around since 1972. They were originally to be the San Fransisco Sharks but that never happened. Like three of the four remaining WHA teams, they had finical troubles in the 90s and relocated to Denver Colorado. In a last attempt to earn funds to keep the team in Quebec City, they rebranded. They had new colors, logos, and uniforms. None of that ever was used.

The idea behind this is that the WHA came back in the 90s after the Quebec Nordiques relocated to become the Colorado Avalanche. The WHA returning would have been lead by efforts to bring a team back to Quebec City and Winnipeg. The Quebec Nordiques would have used their unreleased branding until around 2008 or so when they would have rebranded again. Around 2017 they would have gone back to using their traditional colors and logos. The concept I did would be like their current home jersey. It is blue white, red, and dark blue. It is designed after their WHA and unused rebranded jerseys. I also designed it to look like a modern jersey. On the front it their primary logo. On the shoulders is the fleur de lis that was on all of their jerseys since 1974 and helped make their NHL era jerseys iconic.
