Like I said in my last three posts, I am super behind on Conceptober. The prompt on the 22nd was to create a jersey concept for a junior team. Junior teams in ice hockey are teams consisting of players from sixteen to twenty one years old. The most popular and top level of junior hockey is the Canadian Hockey League which consists of sixty teams in three separate leagues. Pretty much every National Hockey League player has played junior hockey before playing in collage or playing pro.
Again I used the Wheel of Names to pick a team. I stuck with the Canadian Hockey League to make things simple. The Ontario Hockey League won the first spin. The Ottawa 67’s won the second spin.
The Ottawa 67’s jersey is red, tan, and black. It is inspired by their current home jerseys, the Ottawa Senators 1917 to 1930 hockey jerseys, the Ottawa Senators 2011 to 2017 alternate jersey, the Ottawa Senators 2018 to 2020 NHL 100 Classic alternate jersey, and the Ottawa Senators 2014 Heritage Classic jersey. On the front it their primary logo. I did use the CCM Quicklite template from my AHL Concept Series as the CHL and AHL both use the CCM Quicklite jerseys.
