The Vegas Golden Knight pulled a sword out of a stone from center ice. He pointed the sword at the giant helmet that the players come through. The knights players came onto the ice and lined up at the blue line. The team captain, Mark Stone came out last with the Stanley Cup. The team skated around the rink. The Stanley cup was put on a table next to a giant slot machine on the ice. Mark Stone pulled the lever on the slot machine. It lined up with three Stanley cups. Lights were flashing with sounds to make it seem like they hit the jackpot. On the ice gold coins were being projected to look like how old slot machines would dispense tokens or coins. Then from behind the slot machine the banner was lifted above the slot machine. The players were standing arm and arm as the banner was being raised. Then they took a team photo with the banner and slot machine behind them. They went on to beat the Seattle Kraken 4-1 in their opening game. The Vegas Golden Knights and Boston Bruins are the last two teams remaining in the National Hockey League that have not lost in regulation time.
