The Reno Ice Adult League Winter 2023-24 season has started. Three of the five leagues are playing this season. The A-League is the only returning league from last season. The B-League has returned from their hiatus for the RIAL Fall 2023 season. The D-League is also returning after their hiatus for the RIAL Fall 2023 season. The C-League and the E-League are on hiatus for the RIAL Winter 2023-24 season.

They did not make the playoffs last season. Whiskey Dekes are last in the power rankings after coming in last place last season. Noticeably absent from the A-League this season is a sixth team. The Free Agents did not return for this season.

They made the RIAL Summer 2023 B-League Championship game. Carson City Hyundai are third in the power rankings. They won the RIAL Summer 2023 B-League regular season title. 4 Seasons is in the fourth spot. They made the RIAL Summer 2023 B-League playoffs. Silver State is in the fifth spot. The Slappy Gilmores are in the sixth spot. They moved back into B-League after winning the RIAL Summer 2023 C-League Championship. They moved to the D-League when the RIAL restructured in for the RIAL Spring 2022 season. They won the D-League Championship and regular season title. Then they moved up to the C-League where they appeared in three Championship games and won two C-League Championships and two C-League regular season titles in three seasons. Over their last four seasons they have only lost five games. In the seventh spot are the Reno Fire Hosers B. They did not make the RIAL Summer 2023 B-League playoffs. The Tahoe Storm are in last in the power rankings. They only won two games during the RIAL Summer 2023 B-League season.

The Jurassic Pucks are in the second spot after making it to the RIAL Summer 2023 D-League Championship game. The Guardians are in the third spot. They made the RIAL Summer 2023 D-League playoffs. The Reno Fire Hosers D are in the fifth spot. They did not make the RIAL Summer 2023 D-League playoffs. Reno Pond Hockey is in the sixth spot after not making the RIAL Summer 2023 D-League playoffs while having a significant drop off in performance last season. Bangarang are in the seventh spot. They join the D-League from the E-League. They have always been a top three contender in the E-League. They won the RIAL Summer 2023 E-League Championship and regular season title including going undefeated. In four seasons they made the playoffs every season, have won three E-League Championships (including three in a row), and won one regular E-League season title. Overall they had a record of 36-9-2 in the E-League including the playoffs. The Trash Pandas are in the eighth spot in the D-League power rankings. They are also joining the D-League from the E-League. They have also always been a top three E-League team. They lost in the RIAL Summer 2023 E-League Championship game. In four seasons they made the playoffs every season, they made it to four E-League Championship games in a row (including three losses to Bangarang), and they won two regular season titles. Overall they had a record of 34-12-1 with one tied game (which may be the only tied game in RIAL history) in the E-League including the playoffs.
