Expectations were high last season. Reno Pond Hockey missed out on the playoffs for the first time in the D-League. It was also the first time Reno Pond Hockey missed the playoffs since the RIAL Spring 2022 season. This season Reno Pond Hockey is looking to get back into the playoffs. The other big thing going into this season was that Reno Pond Hockey was forced into a rebuild. Reno Pond Hockey only had about eight players coming back so it was a long road to get back to a full roster.

Reno Pond Hockeys joined the Reno Ice Adult League as a founding member for the Summer 2021 season. Reno Pond Hockey was one of the original RIAL teams. Reno Pond Hockey played its first three seasons in B-League. In the summer of 2022, the RIAL restructured and Reno Pond Hockey was sent down to D-League. Reno Pond Hockey has made the playoffs four times. Reno Pond Hockey has made the championship game three times. Reno Pond Hockey has won two regular season titles and two championships.

Last season Reno Pond Hockey finished the Regular season in sixth of eight. They had a record of 3-6-1. They were tied with the sixth most goals in the league with 31. They had the fifth least goals allowed in the league 35. They missed out on the playoffs by five points (two wins and a shootout loss).

Reno Pond Hockey has an all-time record of 40-37-1. Reno Pond Hockey has scored 306 goals. Reno Pond Hockey has allowed 255 goals. Reno Pond Hockey play the Reno Fire Hosers D on Wed. Dec. 13th at 10:30pm and on Tue. Feb. 6th at 10:30pm. The Reno Fire Hosers D came in fifth place last season. They did not make the playoffs.

Reno Pond Hockey will play Mid-Ice Crisis on Tue. Jan. 9th at 10:30pm. Mid-Ice Crisis finished last season in first place. They won the regular season title and D-League Championship last season.
