Adidas has done really well with their NHL all-star designs. My favorite are the 2019 black and white jerseys. The 2023 NHL all-star jerseys are going to be iconic. I have not seen a lot of criticism towards the NHL jerseys Adidas has been putting out. That is until the release of the 2024 NHL all-star jerseys.

The 2024 NHL all-star jerseys were design in partnership with Justin Bieber. Specifically they were designed in partnership with his clothing line Drew House. I am not a fan of Drew House. The all-star jerseys are not good. The three stripes on the sleeves remind me of 1987 Soviet Union jerseys. The jersey seem childlike and playful. Not really what anyone was expecting after having brilliant jerseys in 2023. The font has been compared a lot to Comic Sans which can be polarizing. The names being at the bottom and in lowercase may make them harder to read. Just looking at the promotional images they seem hard to read. I don’t mind the stars in the sleeves too much. I do not like the stars around the NHL logo like that. I’d actually prefer if it had the team logos, eastern or western logos, or the event logo instead of the NHL logo.  

The NBA just released their all-star jerseys. Honestly they are lightyears ahead of the NHL all-star jerseys. The NHL needs to do better. They are a billion dollar league. There is no reason to have jerseys that have a negative reception. These look like it was the designers first time designing a jersey. While the NBA has epic all-star jerseys. I have not seen anything positive about the 2024 NHL all-star jerseys. It is one of those things that did not have to be this way. Let me know what you think about the 2024 NHL all-star jerseys.
