The Reno Ice Adult League Winter 2023-24 playoffs are coming up. Teams now have between one and four games remaining in the regular season. The playoffs will start on Sunday, February 25th. All of the championship games will be played back to back on Sunday, March 3rd. Let’s take another look into the playoff race.
In the A-League, Doughboy’s Donuts! are still the only team to have secured a playoff spot. None of the other teams have secured a playoff spot yet. None of the A-League teams have been eliminated from playoff contention yet. With one game left the Reno Gamblers are two wins from securing six wins. They will not be able to secure six wins. They are currently in a playoff spot. Whiskey Dekes and the Mustangs have thee games remaining. They are both three wins away from securing playoff spots. The Great Basin Brewing Misfits will not be able to secure six wins. They only have two hames remaining. They are only one win out of a playoff spot.
If the playoffs started today Doughboy’s Donuts! would play the Mustangs. The Reno Gamblers would play Whiskey Dekes.
Doughboy’s Donuts! have won the RIAL Winter 2023-24 A-League regular season title. They still have three games to play in the regular season. At seven wins they are too far ahead for any of the other A-League teams to catch up. This is the Doughboy’s Donuts! second A-League regular season title and third A-League regular title as a franchise.

In the B-League, the Swift Institute are still the only team to secure a playoff spot. None of the teams have been eliminated from playoff contention yet. With two games left Cruz Construction and Carson City Hyundai are one win away from securing playoff spots. With two games left the Tahoe Storm are two wins away from securing a playoff spot. With one game left Silver State will not be able to secure six wins. They are currently tied for the last playoff spot but out of the playoffs right now based on tie breakers. With three games left 4 Seasons will not be able to secure six wins. They are two wins out of a playoff spot. With four games left the Reno Fire Hosers B are four wins from securing a playoff spot. With two games left the Slappy Gilmores will not be able to secure six wins. They are two wins outside of a playoff spot right now.
If the playoffs started today the Swift Institute would play the Tahoe Storm. Cruz Construction would play Carson City Hyundai.
The Swift Institute lead the B-League regular season title race. Cruz Construction and Carson City Hyundai are behind by two wins. The Tahoe Storm, Silver State, 4 Seasons, the Reno Fire Hosers B, and the Slappy Gilmores are all out of the B-League regular season title race.

In the D-League, Bangarang are still the only team to have secured a playoff spot. Reno Pond Hockey have been eliminated from playoff contention. With two games left Q & D Construction are one win away from securing a playoff spot. With one game left the Reno Fire Hosers D are one win away from securing a playoff spot. With three games left the Trash Pandas are two wins away from securing a playoff spot. With one game left Mid-Ice Crisis will not be able to secure six wins. They are currently tied for the last playoff spot but are outside of the playoffs on tiebreakers. With two games left The Guardians and the Jurassic Pucks will not be able to secure six wins. They are both one win out of a playoff spot.
If the playoffs started today Bangarang would play the Trash Pandas. Q & D Construction would play the Reno Fire Hosers D.
Banagrang lead the D-League regular season title race. Q & D Construction are two wins behind. The Trash Pandas are three wins behind. The Reno Fire Hosers D, Mid-Ice Crisis, the Guardians, the Jurassic Pucks, and Reno Pond Hockey are all out of the Regular season title race.
