The Dallas Stars are taking on the Colorado Avalanche in game one of their second round series.

The Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning to reach the second round. The Boston Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs to reach the second round. This game was in Florida. No one scored in the first period. The score was tied at 0-0 after the first period.

The Boston Bruins now have a 1-0 series lead.
The Panthers got the lead but it didn’t last long. The Bruins put their foot on the gas and didn’t let up. It is just game one. The Bruins started out their last series like this and they struggled to close that series out. One game does not define a series. The Panthers should come out strong in game two. The Panthers have still not won a game against the Bruins this season.
Game two of this series will be on Wednesday, May 8th. That game will be in Florida. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

The Stars and Golden Knights series was a close one with a lot of good hockey. The Colorado Avalanche took over the Jets series and won four games in a row after losing game one. This should be a good series. These two teams are in the same division. They have a lot of history.
