It will be the tenth season in the RIAL for Reno Pond Hockey. The team will be celebrating that like they did with their fifth season. Reno Pond Hockey has missed the playoffs the last three seasons in a row. Reno Pond Hockey has also now not won a game in back to back seasons. Reno Pond Hockey has lost a total of twenty five games in a row. Last season was the third season where Reno Pond Hockey did not win a single game. Reno Pond Hockey have not won a game since July 12th, 2023. It has been ten months since Reno Pond Hockeys last win. This was the first time Reno Pond Hockey missed the playoffs three seasons in a row. Reno Pond Hockey is the only team in the RIAL at any level that has won at least one championship and has lost every game in at least one season. Reno Pond Hockey might also be the only team that has won a championship and has had at least one season where they lost every game. As a result of the recent struggles of Reno Pond Hockey, they have been moved down from the D-League to the E-League.

Reno Pond Hockeys joined the Reno Ice Adult League as a founding member for the Summer 2021 season. Reno Pond Hockey was one of the original RIAL teams. Reno Pond Hockey played its first three seasons in B-League. In the summer of 2022, the RIAL restructured and Reno Pond Hockey was sent down to D-League. In the summer of 2024 Reno Pond Hockey was sent down to the E-League.

Reno Pond Hockey has made the playoffs four times. Reno Pond Hockey has made the championship game three times. Reno Pond Hockey has won two regular season titles and two championships. All of Reno Pond Hockey’s championship appearances, regular season titles, and championship wins came in the D-League.

Last season Reno Pond Hockey finished the Regular season in eighth of eight. They had a record of 0-10-0. They were tied for last in goals scored last season with 23. They had the most goals allowed in the league with 53. They missed out on the playoffs.

Below is the Reno Pond Hockey RIAL Summer 2024 season schedule. There are six teams in the E-League. The D-League has eight teams. The top four will make the playoffs. There will be ten regular season games. Reno Pond Hockey will play all opposing teams twice.

Reno Pond Hockey opens up the season against the Satan’s Gatekeepers on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:15 PM at home. Reno Pond Hockey also plays the Satan’s Gatekeepers on Sunday, July 7th at 6:30 PM. Satan’s Gatekeepers came in third place last season. They had a record of 6-4-0. They made it to the RIAL Spring 2024 E-League Championship game.

Reno Pond Hockey play the Grrrowlers on Tuesday, June 11th at 10:15 PM and on Monday, July 15th at 9:00 PM. The Grrrowlers came in 5th place last season. They had a record of 2-8-0. They did not make the playoffs.

The Grrrowlers were previously in the D-League with Reno Pond Hockey. The all-time record between Reno Pond Hockey and the Grrrowlers is 7-0-0. Reno Pond Hockey has scored 32 goals against the Grrrowlers. Reno Pond Hockey has allowed 13 goals against the Grrrowlers. During the RIAL Summer 2023 D-League season, the record was 2-0-0.
