That series is between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers. The New York Rangers currently lead the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Dallas Stars took on the Edmonton Oilers in game three of the Western Conference Finals. The series was tied at 1-1 going into the game. Edmonton won game one 3-2 in overtime. Dallas won game two 3-1. This game was in Edmonton. Just over two minutes into the game, #18 Zach Hyman scored to give the Oilers the lead. His goal was assisted by #97 Connor McDavid and #2 Evan Bouchard. Halfway through the first period, #97 Connor McDavid scored an unassisted goal to give the Oilers a two goal lead. The score was 2-0 Oilers after the first period.

Six minutes into the second period, #21 Jason Robertson scored for the Stars to bring the lead back down to one goal. His goal was assisted by #24 Roope Hints and #91 Tyler Seguin. With just under twelve minutes to go in the second period, #21 Jason Robertson scored again for the Stars to tie the game. His goal was assisted by #24 Roope Hintz. A minute later, Wyatt Johnston scored to give the Stars the lead. His goal was assisted by #11 Logan Stankoven and #14 Jamie Benn. With under a minute to go in the period, #19 Adam Henrique scored for the Oilers to tie the game. His goal was assisted by #28 Connor Brown. The score was tied up at 3-3 going into the third period.

With eight minutes left in the game, #21 JAson Robertson scored again to complete the hat trick. His goal gave the Stars the lead. It was assisted by #91 Tyler Seguin and #23 Esa Lindell. With under two minutes to go, #4 Miro Heiskanen scored to give the Stars a two goal lead. His goal was assisted by #14 Jamie Benn. The final score was 5-3 Stars. The Dallas Stars now have a 2-1 series lead in the Western Conference Finals.

The Oilers had a two goal lead. They couldn’t keep it. The Stars took the lead. The Oilers tied it back up but they could not regain the lead. The Stars scored. It was an amazing effort from Jason Robertson to score like he did. Edmonton has to shut him down if they want to win. Both of the Conference Finals are playing out the same way. The Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers are in the same situation. They both have must win game fours coming up at home.

Game four of the Western Conference Finals will be on Wednesday, May 29th at 5:30 PM. That game will be in Edmonton.
