Archery at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad continued Wednesday. The individual rounds continued on Wednesday. Both the men’s and women’s individual competitions continued. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are the round of 64 and round of 32 for the individual events. Like with the team events it is a best of five sets. Each archer shoots three arrows per set. Some of todays event had to be postponed due to weather. Postponed matches are scheduled for Thursday.
In the men’s event, the rest of the section two bracket and part of the section three bracket had matches. In section two during the round of 64, the five seed Lee Woo-seok of south Korea swept the sixty seed Peter Boukouvalas of Australia three sets to zero. The thirty seven seed Alessandro Paoli of Italy beat the twenty eight seed Lam Dorji of Bhutan three sets to one after tying the first set. The twenty one seed. Hugo Franco of Cuba beat the forty four seed Bruno Martínez of Mexico two sets to one after tying the first set. The twelve seed Wang Yan of China swept the fifty three seed Óscar Ticas of El Salvador three sets to zero. The thirteen seed Amirkhon Sadikov of Uzbekistan beat the fifty two seed Damián Jajarabilla of Argentina three sets to one. The twenty seed Mauro Nespoli
swept the forty five seed Sagor Islam of Bangladesh three sets to zero.
In section three during the round of 64, the forty six seed Conor Hall of Great Britain. upset the nineteen seed Jean-Charles Valladont of France. Conor Hall won two sets, they tied two sets, and Jean-Charles Valladont only won one set. The fifty one seed Tom Hall of Great Britain upset the fourteen seed Tarundeep Rai of India. Yom Hall won two sets, they tied two sets and Tarundeep Rai won one set.
In section two during the round of 32, the number five seed Lee Woo-seok of South Korea swept Alessandro Paoli
of Italy three sets to zero. The twelve seed Wang Yan of China beat the twenty one seed Hugo Franco of Cuba three sets to one. The twenty seed Mauro Nespoli of Italy upset the thirteen seed Amirkhon Sadikov of Uzbekistan three sets to two.
In section three during the round of 32, the fifty first seed Tom Hall of Great Britain upset the forty six seed Conor Hall of Great Britain. They both won one set and they tied three sets. In the shoot off Conor Hall got an eight and Tom Hall got a ten.
In the women’s event, the rest of section four and some section one had matches. In section four during the round of 64, the twenty three seed Deepika Kumari of India beat the forty two seed Reena Pärnat of Estonia. Their match went to a shoot off where Reena Pärnat shot an 8 and Deepika Kumari shot a 9. The fifty five seed Quinty Roeffen of the Netherlands upset the ten seed Elisabeth Straka of Austria three sets to two. The fifteen seed Chiara Rebagliati of Italy beat the fifty seed Ariana Zairi of Malaysia in a shoot off. Ariana Zairi shot a nine. Chiara Rebagliati shot a ten. The forty seven seed Mădălina Amăistroaie of Romania upset the eighteen seed Mikaella Moshe of Israel. Mădălina Amăistroaie won three sets and they tied one set. The Thirty one seed Marie Horáčková of the Czach Republic beat the the thirty one seed Ziyodakhon Abdusattorova of Uzbekistan three sets to one. The number two seed Nam Su-hyeon of South Korea beat the sixty three seed Jana Ali of Egypt. They tied one set and Nam Su-hyeon won three sets.
In section one during the round of 64, the seventeen seed Amélie Cordeau of France beat the number forty eight seed Denisa Baránková of Slovakia. They tied one set, Denisa Baránková won one set, Amélie Cordeau won three sets. The forty nine seed Megan Havers of Great Britain upset the sixteen seed Elia Canales of Spain three sets to zero.
In section four during the round of 32, The twenty three seed Deepika Kumari of India beat the fifty five seed Quinty Roeffen of the Netherlands three sets to one. The forty seven seed Mădălina Amăistroaie of Romania upset the fifteen seed Chiara Rebagliati of Italy. Mădălina Amăistroaie won three sets, they tied one set, and Chiara Rebagliati won one set. The number two seed Nam Su-hyeon of South Korea beat the number thirty one seed Marie Horáčková of the Czech Republic. They tied three sets and Nam Su-hyeon won two sets.
In section one during the round of 32, the number forty nine seed Megan Havers of Great Britain upset the number seventeen seed Amélie Cordeau of France. This one came down to another shoot off. Amélie Cordeau shot a nine and Megan Havers shot a ten.

The Paris 2024 archery individual eliminations continue on Thursday. It starts at 12:30 am PST. The round of 64 and the round of 32 will continue.
