The Tahoe Knight Monsters announced their training camp roster today. They have not announced any preseason games yet. The Tahoe Knight Monsters take open the season on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at home against the Jacksonville Icemen. They have a solid number of players at training camp with twenty four. They have two players on Professional Tryout (PTO) contracts. They have five players on tryouts. The players on PTO can play into the regular season. Players on tryouts can not play in the regular season. Sixteen of the players on the training camp roster are already signed. One player has been assigned to the Tahoe Knight Monsters from the Henderson Silver Knights. Eighteen of the players were on a pro roster last season. One player played in the AHL last season. Five players played in the ECHL last season. Eight of these players played in Europe last season. Five were playing in college or junior last season. Four players were in the SPHL last season. From what I can tell none of the players on the training camp roster have been in the Vegas Golden Knights system before.

The big roster question right now is who will be the Tahoe Knight Monsters goalie? The Tahoe Knight Monsters have not signed a goalie yet. They have one goalie listed for training camp. That goalie is on a tryout. The Vegas Golden Knights or Henderson Silver Knights may still assign goalies to Lake Tahoe. From what I could find, it does look like the Vegas Golden Knights organization does have some extra goaltenders. As the NHL season starts this week the Vegas Golden Knights should have their roster sorted out by Wednesday, October 9th. The Henderson Silver Knights should have their roster sorted out by Friday, October 11th. The Tahoe Knight Monsters should have a goalie assigned by Friday, October 11th. They need to have at least two goalies assigned or signed in the next two and a half weeks roughly. There is still plenty of time for the Tahoe Knight Monsters to find goaltending. Additional players will likely be assigned to the Tahoe Knight Monsters from the Vegas Golden Knights or Henderson Silver Knights before the season starts.

Shane Bull played for the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL and in the NCAA last season. Luke Adam played for Banska Bystrica HC 05 in the Slovakian Extraleague last season. Cal Kiefiuk. He played for the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL last season. Jacob McGrew played for AIK in the Sweden 1st Division last season. C.J. Hayes is on a PTO for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He played for Herne EV in Germany last season. Tylor Ho is on a tryout for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He played for Lakehead University last season. Adam Pitters is on a tryout with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He played for the Fayetteville Marksmen of the SPHL last season. Justin Kelley is on a tryout with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He played for the Macon Mayhem of the SPHL last season. Tyler Dill is on a tryout with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He also played for the Macon Mayhem of the SPHL last season.

Brandon Tabakin played for Arizona State University in the NCAA last season. Ryan Orgel played in the AHL last season with the Syracuse Crunch. Jeff Solow played in the ECHL last season with the Maine Mariners. Jake Johnson played with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL last season. Elijah Vilio played with the Dundee Stars of the EIHL last season. Arthue Cholach was assigned to the Tahoe Knight Monsters from the Henderson Silver Knights. He played for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL last season. Trey Phillips is on a PTO with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He played for Anglet in France last season. Amedeo Mastrageli is on a tryout with the Tahoe Monster Knights. He played for Elmira College last season.

Bailey Brkin is the only goalie listed for the Tahoe Knight Monsters right now. He is on a tryout with the team. HE played for the Quad City Storm of the SPHL last season.
