What is going on? I missed the last two update posts. I have been very busy this year trying to balance family, work, hockey, and this. I have been trying to get these updates out quarterly. The last two quarters I have just been too busy. Here we are only a couple of months left in 20204 and things are getting really exciting. A lot has happened this year. A lot is in the past and there is a lot to look forward too. For my fans (yes I have some fans) I have a lot of exciting stuff coming up. I hope everyone continues to check out what I have going on here.
2024 got off to a solid start. I got 3,838 views in the first quarter. Views went down in February and March. At that point views had been going down since 2023. I did get 81 posts out the first quarter. I got 3,488 views in quarter two. Views finally went up in April. Views hit their lowest since January of 2023 in May. Then views peaked in June. The second quarter was all over the place. I got 115 posts out in quarter two. I got 3,407 views in quarter three. Views went slightly down in July and August. September got the same amount of views as August. I got 80 posts out in quarter three. I do not know what caused the slump in May. I got out nine more posts than the previous month. I did counter that by getting close to fifty posts out in both June and July. I think I set my goal for 2024 too high. The goal was set based on numbers from quarter four of 2023. That has not happened. I am pretty much back to around the same goal as 2023. I was looking for an increase of about 10,000 views this year. That does not look like it is going to happen. I am in a better position than I was at this time in 2023. I have about 887 more views now than this time last year. This year I have only had one one month so far under 1,000 views. In 2023 I had three months under 1,000 views. I have only reached about 40% of my goal for 2024 but I will likely pass the numbers from 2023.
As far as posts go, I have been busy the last couple of months. I wasn’t able to do as many posts I wanted to for the Paris 2024 Olympics. I have a list of twelve concepts I have not gotten done yet. I still need to get my AHL concept done, season two of my RIAL Concept, I have barely done any of the NCAA concept like I wanted, I am still going to get my Paris 2024 Ice Hockey concept done. I have not been able to stream or make videos as much as I want. Things are moving in a positive direction though. I am working on a lot of the concepts and videos. I have a lot of stuff coming up.
Hockey season is here. I have a lot of content coming out for that. The Tahoe Knight Monsters have brought hockey back to the Reno Tahoe area. I have a lot of content planned around the that. I do want to start a hockey podcast. My ECHL concept series will be starting this month. There are other concept series I want to do but I will likely not get them started until 2025 or later. I still have not been able to put funds into marketing. Marketing has stalled indefinitely at this point.
