The Reno Ice Adult League Fall 2024 playoffs start in less than two weeks. Teams have one to three regular season games remaining. In the A-League three teams have secured playoff spots with one team eliminated from playoff contention. In the C-League three teams have secured playoff spots and one team has been eliminated from playoff contention. In the E-League two teams have secured playoff spots. One E-League team will also advance to the playoffs with all of the teams still in the playoff race. Nine of this seasons twelve total playoff spots have been secured. Only two teams have been eliminated from playoff contention. The RIAL Fall 2024 Playoffs start on Sunday, November 17th, 2024.
In the RIAL A-League The Reno Gamblers, the defending champions Doughboys Donuts!, and the Mustangs have secured playoff spots. The Misfits have been eliminated from playoff contention. There is only one playoff spot left in the A-League. A-League teams have one game remaining.
The Free Agents and Whiskey Dekes are tied for the last playoff spot. The Free Agents are currently in the last playoff spot on tie breakers. For both teams it will come down to their final regular season game. If the Free Agents win or lose in a shootout and Whiskey Dekes loses, the Free Agents will advance to the playoffs. If Whiskey Dekes win or lose in a shootout and the Free Agents lose, Whiskey Dekes will advance to the playoffs. If both teams win, lose, or lose in a shootout than the Free Agents will advance to the playoffs.
If the playoffs started today, the Reno Gamblers would play the Free Agents. The Doughboys Donuts! would play the Mustangs. The RIAL A-League Playoffs start on Sunday, November 17th. Both of the RIAL A-League Semifinals will be played back to back on that day starting at 9:30 PM. The RIAL A-League Championship game will be on Sunday, November 24th, at 8:00 PM.
The Reno Gamblers lead the RIAL A-League regular season title race with sixteen points (eight wins). Doughboys Donuts! are still one point behind. The Mustangs, Whiskey Dekes, the Free Agents, and the Misfits are all out of the regular season title race.

In the RIAL C-League, the United Skates, the Desert Dogs, and Black Ox have secured playoff spots. Big Horn Tavern are the only team eliminated from playoff contention. There is one playoff spot still available in the C-League. C-League teams have two or one or two regular season games remaining.
The Murder Hornets and the Tahoe Tessies are tied for the last playoff spot. The Tahoe Tessies have played one less game than the Murder Hornets. The Murder Hornets can no longer secure twelve points. The Tahoe Tessies can still secure twelve points. If the Murder Hornets win their last regular season game and the Tahoe Tessies only win one of their remaining game, the Murder Hornets will advance to the playoffs. If the Murder Hornets lose their last regular season game in a shootout and the Tahoe Tessies lose both of their remaining games in regulation, the Murder Hornets will advance to the playoffs. If the Tahoe Tessies win both of their remaining regular season games, they will secure a playoff spot. If the Tahoe Tessies win one of their remaining regular season games and the Murder Hornets lose their last regular season game, the Tahoe Tessies will advance to the playoffs. If the Tahoe Tessies lose one of their remaining regular season games in a shootout and the Murder Hornets lose their last regular season game in regulation, the Tahoe Tessies will advance to the playoffs. If the Tahoe Tessies lose one of their remaining regular season games in a shootout and the other game in regulation with the Murder Hornets losing their last regular season game in a shootout, the Murder Hornets will advance to the playoffs. If the both teams lose all of their remaining regular season games, the Murder Hornets will advance to the playoffs.
If the playoffs started today, the United Skates would play the Murder Hornets. Black Ox would play the Desert Dogs. The RIAL Fall 2024 C-League Playoffs start on Thursday, November 21st. The first RIAL Fall 2024 C-League Semifinal will be on Thursday, November 21st, at 10:45 PM. The second RIAL Fall 2024 C-League Semifinal will be on Friday, November 22nd, at 10:00 PM. The RIAL Fall 2024 C-League Championship game will be on Sunday, November 24th, at 6:30 PM.

In the RIAL E-League, Reno Pond Hockey and Satan’s Gatekeepers have secured playoff spots. Pure Luck will be advancing to the playoffs as well. None of the teams have been eliminated from playoff contention yet. There are two playoff spots still available. E-League teams have between one and three regular season games remaining.
Pure Luck are two points (one win) from securing a playoff spot. They have one regular season game remaining. They will advance to the playoffs. With a six point (three win) lead on fifth place they can no longer be eliminated from playoff contention. The Reno Fire Hosers E are in the last playoff spot. They will not be able to secure twelve points. They have three games remaining. They have a one point (shootout loss) lead over fifth place. The Grrrowlers are one point (overtime loss) away from tying for the last playoff spot. They have one regular season game remaining. The Holy Pucks are three points (a win and a shootout loss) from tying for the last playoff spot. They have two regular season games remaining.
If the Reno Fire Hosers E win all three games they will advance to the playoffs. If the Reno Fire Hosers win one of their remaining regular season games, they will advance to the playoffs. The Fire Hosers would have to lose all three of their games to give the Grrrowlers or Holy Pucks a shot at the last playoff spot. If the Grrrowlers win their last regular season game they will finish the regular season with six points. That would put them in the final playoff spot right now. They would advance to the playoffs in that case if the Reno Fire Hosers lose all three of their remaining regular season games in regulation, and the Holy Pucks would have to lose both of their remaining regular season games. If the Grrrowlers lose their last regular season game in a shootout, they will tie for the last playoff spot as things stand. In that case it would come down to tie breakers if the Reno Fire Hosers lose all three of their remaining games and the Holy Pucks finish with under five points. If the Grrrowlers lose their last regular season game in regulation they will be eliminated from playoff contention. As things stand, the Holy Pucks need to win one of their remaining games to tie for fifth place and lose the other game in overtime to tie for fourth place. If the Holy Pucks win both of their last remaining games, they will advance to the playoffs as things stand. Majority of this playoff race comes down to the how the Reno Fire Hosers finish the regular season. The Reno Fire Hosers will play against the Holy Pucks before the end of the regular season. The Holy Pucks are playing the Grrrowlers before the end of the season as well. The last playoff spot could come down to either of those games.

The first RIAL Fall 2024 E-League Semifinal will be on Monday, November 18th, at 10:00 PM. The second RIAL Fall 2024 E-League Semifinal will be on Thursday, November 21st, at 9:15 PM. The RIAL Fall 2024 E-League Championship game will be on Sunday, November 24th, at 5:00 PM.
