The Tahoe Knight Monsters are back at home for game eight against the Tulsa Oilers. Tonight is the first game of a three game home stand. The Knight Monsters play tonight, Friday, and Saturday. They are coming back from back to back games in Utah last week. The Tulsa Oilers are from Tulsa Oklahoma. They are affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL and the San Diego Gulls of the ECHL. They have been around since 1992. They started off in the Central Hockey League. The Central Hockey League was absorbed by the ECHL in 2014. There have been several other Tulsa Oilers hockey teams dating back to 1928. The Tulsa Oilers have won one division title and one CHL title.
This is game 8 of the 2024-25 ECHL season for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing the Tulsa Oilers. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
Get there early. Parking seems to be best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. I did hear that Harris and Harveys now have parking passes.
It will be in the 30ºs around game time again. There is also a large chance of snow around game time as well. The National Weather Service has also issued a winter weather advisory. It is in effect in the Lake Tahoe area from 1:00 PM Wednesday to 1:00 AM Thursday. This may make travel to and from Lake Tahoe difficult.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters Knight Cap Crushable Lager can be bought at Lake Tahoe Aleworx. Lake Tahoe Aleworx are a five minute walk from the Tahoe Blue Events Center. Lake Tahoe Aleworx is also offering 20% off before and after the game for anyone who shows a ticket.
It does not seem like the Tahoe Blue Event Center is consistent with which doors are open. Sometimes the doors behind section 110 are open and sometimes not. They seem to move people quickly through the lines anyway. There is no promotion or theme for tonights game. With the weather and it being a weekday game, I do not expect a huge crowd. It will still be more people than were at the Utah game on Sunday. There are tickets available for tonights game starting at $20.
