After the Knight Monsters fourth goal, the Tulsa Oilers pulled goaltender Vyacheslav Buteyets. The Oilers put goaltender Luke Lush in the net. Five minutes into the third period, the Knight Monsters scored again. #14 Patrick Newell scored the goal. It was assisted by #28 Logan Nelson and #23 Jake Johnson.
Nine minutes into the third period, the Oilers scored. #32 Ruslan Gazizov scored the goal. #29 Sean Olson and #24 Mike McKee got the assists.
With eight minutes left in the game, #4 Brandon Tabakin scored to regain a four goal lead for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. His goal was assisted by #28 Logan Nelson and #14 Patrick Newell.
With five minutes left in the game, the Knight Monsters scored again. #13 Simon Pinard scored the goal. His goal was assisted by #12 Bear Hughes and #21 Sloan Stanick.
The final score was 7-2 Tahoe Knight Monsters.

The Tahoe Knight Monsters got a blowout win. It is nice to see them take down one of the top teams in the division like this. The Knight Monsters did not take their foot off the gas in the second period in this game. They kept the pressure on the Oilers all game. They continued to build on a solid second period with a great third period. The Knight Monsters offense was firing on all cylinders. On the other side of things the Tulsa Oilers had a rough time in net. They were playing catch up the whole game. They never got their offense going. The Oilers were not able to stop the Knight Monsters from scoring in the third period. Four unanswered goals won this game for the Knight Monsters. The Knight Monsters have now won three games in a row. They are now on a winning streak. This is their first ever winning streak in team history.

The Tulsa Oilers more fourteen more shots. The Tahoe Knight Monsters had the better shot percentage.
