Forward C.J. Hayes has been traded from the Tahoe Knight Monsters to the Toledo Walleye. In return the Tahoe Knight Monsters get future considerations. Future considerations is pretty much like a favor. In the future, if the Tahoe Knight Monsters want a player in return and it is reasonable they will get it. This would also be in consideration during future trade deals between Tahoe and Toledo. I have heard that general managers or coaches use future considerations to get off ice perks like to get the other coach to pay for dinner. This is C.J. Hayes seventh pro year. He has floated around a lot between the ECHL, SPHL, and FPHL. He started off this season with the Pensacola Flyers of the SPHL. After eight games the Knight Monsters brought him to Tahoe. He only played three games with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. In those three games he scored one goal and got zero assists for one total points. He did receive two penalty minutes and he had a +/- of -1. His addition was likely to fill up the Knight Monsters roster as he was brought on after a handful of Knight Monsters were called up to the Henderson Silver Knights. This trade is likely to free up roster space now that the called up players are back in Tahoe. The ECHL is all about developing talent for the next level Unfortunately C.J. Hayes was not part of the Vegas Golden Knights plan for the Tahoe Knight Monsters.
