Forward Jakub Demek was recalled from the Tahoe Knight Monsters to the Henderson Silver Knights on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. Demek played four games for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He did not score a goal in those four games. He got two assists. He had two total points. He had zero penalty minutes. Finished these four games with a +/- of -2. These four games were the first four games for Demek this season. The Vegas Golden Knights 2021 fourth round pick played fifty five games with the Henderson Silver Knights last season. He was injured last season. He has not played for most of this season. This is his second pro season at the age of twenty one. Notibly he played for Slovakia in the 2022 World Junior U-20 Championships and won the Canadian Hockey Leagues Memorial Cup with the Edmonton Oil Kings in 2022. After four games it is hard to say if he will be back in the ECHL. If he has recovered from his injury that he will likely be a main stay in Henderson. It seems like the Vegas Golden Knights want him to develop as much as possible in the AHL right now. Again after just four games this season it is hard to tell what the Vegas Golden Knights will do with Demek. Demek played all of his games for the Tahoe Knight Monsters on the road. He may be the first player ever to only play away games with the Tahoe Knight Monsters.
