The Tahoe Knight Monsters are at home for game thirty nine against the Fort Wayne Komets. It has been almost a month without a home game. Tonight is the first game of a three game home stand. This is the first home game of 2025. The Knight Monsters started off 2025 on the road with a nine game road trip. The Knight Monsters won their last two games in overtime. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are looking for their third win in a row. The Fort Wayne Komets are looking for their sixth win in a row. The story going into this game is the Knight Monsters are finally home. The Knight Monsters are fighting for the top of the division and conference. The Fort Wayne Komets are looking for another win. This weekend is military appreciation weekend.
This is game 39 of the 2024-25 ECHL season for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing the Fort Wayne Komets. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL and the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL. The Fort Wayne Komets are the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL and the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Get there early. There will be a lot of people. The lack of games in January will have forced anyone who wanted to come to a game this month to come this weekend. Tonight might be a sell out. Parking seems to be best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Knight Monsters were sending out a special deal for parking at the Golden Nugget. I do not know if that is still happening.
It will be in the lower 40ºs at puck drop. There may be some slight rain. I doubt there will be snow tonight. This will be warmer than the last few home games at puck drop.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters Knight Cap Crushable Lager can be bought at Lake Tahoe Aleworx. Lake Tahoe Aleworx are a five minute walk from the Tahoe Blue Events Center.
Tonight will be the first game of military appreciation weekend. All three games this weekend will be military themed. The Tahoe Knight Monsters do have specialty jerseys they are wearing. The main entrance behind section 106 will be open. I do not know if any other entrances will be open.
Anyone not attending the game can watch it on Flo Hockey.
Bally’s Lake Tahoe is the official post-game party destination. Bally’s is located right next to the Tahoe Blue Events Center.
