Tonight is the first game of a three game home stand. The Golden Monsters are back after a three game road trick to Kansas City. The Golden Monsters are looking for a win after losing their last four games. The Adirondack Thunder are looking for their third win in a row. The story going into this game is the Golden Monsters are looking to get back on the winning side of things. The Golden Monsters are fighting at the division and conference. The Adirondack Thunder are looking to move up from the bottom of the eastern conference. This weekend is affiliate weekend.
This is game 45 of the 2024-25 ECHL season for the Tahoe Golden Monsters. The Tahoe Golden Monsters are playing the Adirondack Thunder. The Tahoe Golden Monsters are the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL and the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL. The Adirondack Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils of the NHL and the Utica Comets of the AHL. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
Get there early. The weather will effect a lot of things this weekend. This is a big weekend. The team have built up a lot of hype for these three games. A lot of people had these games circled on their calendars. A lot of Vegas Golden Knights fans will be interested in this weekend. Parking seems to be best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Knight Monsters were sending out a special deal for parking at the Golden Nugget.
This will be a crazy one. Temperatures should be in the upper 30ºs. There will be rain. There may be snow. There is a winter storm warning in effect.

Tonight will be the first game of affiliate weekend. All three games this week about celebrating the Vegas Golden Knights organization. The Tahoe Knight Monsters have changed their name for these three games to the Tahoe Golden Monsters and they also have specialty jerseys they will be wearing. The main entrance behind section 106 will be open. I do not know if any other entrances will be open. I do not know if anything special will be going on for these games outside of the name change and jerseys. The jerseys are being auctioned off online.
