The Tahoe Knight Monsters are at home for game fifty-four against the Allen Americans. Tonight is the first game of a three game home stand. The Knight Monsters won their least game in Florida. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are looking for another win. The Allen Americans looking for their first win on over ten games. The story going into this game is the Knight Monsters are looking to get back up to the top of the division. The Knight Monsters are still in a playoff spot. They have slipped down from the top. The Allen Americans are looking to start moving out of the bottom of the division. Tonight is “Folklore Knight”.
This is game 54 of the 2024-25 ECHL season for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing the Allen Americans. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League and the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League. The Allen Americans are the ECHL affiliate of Utah Hockey Club of the NHL and the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Get there early. There may be a lot of people. This weekend is Toyota Air & Après which is a big ski event in Tahoe. There will be more people in Tahoe than normal. Parking is best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Knight Monsters do send out a special deal for parking at the Golden Nugget.
It is going to be a warm one. Temperatures will be around 45º at puck drop. There is no chance of precipitation.

Tonight is “Folklore Knight”. I do not think they will be wearing specialty jerseys. The name for tonights theme comes from Tahoe Tessie being local folklore. Some people believe Yeti may also be in the Lake Tahoe region. I do not have a favorite mythical creature. The Wendigo is pretty high up on my list of mythical creatures.
