I wanted to get this post out sooner this week. I did not end uop having time on Monday to get this out. I decided not to put this out yesterday after the Tahoe Knight Monsters released that Alex Schumacher suddenly passed away. Alex was an account executive with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. I got to know him a little bit. He was the person handeling my season tickets. He was an awesome guy. The full news relsease is here. The GoFundMe page is here. As of writting this the GoFundMe has raised $10,050 with a goal of $10,000. They have already reached their goal. People can still donate. This tragity will be looming over this weeks games and the rest of the season. It may hit esspecialy hard at tonights game. I know for myself and a lot of Tahoe Knight Monsters fans and staff, the news of Alex passing was a crushing blow. I hope for nothing but the best for his family and friends during this diffucut time.

The Tahoe Knight Monsters take on the Idaho Steelheads for four games this week. This is the longest home stand of the season. This is also the longest home stand in Tahoe Knight Monsters history. All four games this week are in Stateline, Nevada at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The first game will be on Wednesday, March 26th at 7:00 PM. The second game is on Friday, March 28th at 7:30 PM. The third game is on Saturday, March 29th at 7:00 PM. The final game of this home stand is on Sunday, March 30th at 3:00 PM. The Tahoe Knight Monsters have played sixty-three games going into this series. The Idaho Steelheads have played sixty-two games going into this series. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are looking to extend their winning streak and point streak this week. Their winning streak is currently at three games and their point streak is currently at seven games. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are looking to continue to push for the top spot in the division. They are also still looking to secure their playoff spot. The Idaho Steelheads are looking to get into the final playoff spot.

The Idaho Steelheads are 5th in the ECHL Western Conference Mountain Division. They are not in a playoff spot. The Idaho Steelheads just played three games against the Allen Americans. The Steelheads are coming off of a 5-2 win against the Americans. The Steelheads are 6-4-0 in their last ten games. They are on a three game winning streak. The all time record between the Tahoe Knight Monsters and the Idaho Steelheads is 5-3-0.
