The Tahoe Knight Monsters did say that they will be doing things to honor Alex throughout this home stand.

#1 Jesper Vikman got the start in net for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. It was his 37th game played this season. On Wednesday, forward Adam Pitters was activated from 3-day injured reserve by the Knight Monsters. Forward Adam Robbins was placed on 3-day injured reserve by the Knight Monsters. This was also Anthony Collins 600th ECHL game. #33 Ben Kraws got the start in net for the Idaho Steelheads. It was his 33rd game played this season. On Wednesday, Forward Demetrios Koumontzis was activated from reserve by the Steelheads. Forward Ryan Foss was placed on reserve by the Steelheads.


They had a moment of silence for Alex Schumacher before the game. They also had a dog drop the puck before the game which the crowd loved. Thirty-seven seconds into the game, Logan Nelson of the Tahoe Knight Monsters received a penalty for tripping. Two minutes into the game, the Idaho Steelheads took the lead. The goal was scored by #6 Wade Murphy. His goal was assisted by #13 Francesco Arcuri and #24 Reece Harsch. This goal was scored on the powerplay.
Six minutes into the game, Patrick Moynihan of the Steelheads received a penalty for interference. On that penalty both players collided with the official. One of the sticks went into the air. With under three minutes to go in the first period, Ryan Gagnon of the Steelheads received a penalty for holding. The Knight Monsters played a video from Anthony Collins family congratulating him during one of the ice crew time-outs. The tying goal was scored by #28 Logan Nelson. His goal was assisted by #9 Troy Loggins and #14 Patrick Newell.
Parker Berge of the Idaho Steelheads would leave the game with what appeared to be an ankle injury shortly after the tying goal. He did not return to the game. The score was tied at 1-1 going into the third period.

Forty-nine seconds into the third period, Wade Murphy of the Idaho Steelheads received a penalty for high-sticking. Just after the powerplay, the Tahoe Knight Monsters took the lead. The go ahead goal was scored by #28 Logan Nelson. His goal was assisted by #49 Artur Cholach and #26 Nate Kallen.
Four minutes into the third period, the Tahoe Knight Monsters took a two goal lead. #21 Sloan Stanick scored the goal. His goal was assisted by #8 Adrien Bisson and #10 Jett Jones.
Six minutes into the third period, the Knight Monsters took a three goal lead. The goal was scored by #12 Bear Hughes. His goal was assisted by #21 Sloan Stanick and #13 Simon Pinard.
Seven minutes into the third period, #8 Adrien Bisson scored his first ECHL goal. His goal have the Knight Monsters a four goal lead. His goal was assisted by #28 Logan Nelson and #6 Evan Junker.
Four seconds after the goal, Luke Adam of the Knight Monsters received a penalty for high-sticking. The final score was 5-1 Tahoe Knight Monsters.


The Idaho Steelheads backup goalie sat on a chair near the entrance to the rink. This is the first time I have seen that at a Knight Monsters game. Usually they are on the bench. took the lead in the first period. The Tahoe Knight Monsters tied the game in the second period. The Knight Monsters got the offense rolling in the third period with four goals in five minutes. The game started off slow. It had its chippy moments. Then the Knight Monsters found their grove. The Knight Monsters ended the Steelheads winning streak. The Knight Monsters extended their point streak to eight games. The Knight Monsters extended their winning streak to five games.
