On Wednesday, forward Adam Pitters was activated from 3-day injured reserve by the Knight Monsters. Forward Adam Robbins was placed on 3-day injured reserve by the Knight Monsters. This was also Anthony Collins 600th ECHL game. #33 Ben Kraws got the start in net for the Idaho Steelheads. It was his 33rd game played this season. On Wednesday, Forward Demetrios Koumontzis was activated from reserve by the Steelheads. Forward Ryan Foss was placed on reserve by the Steelheads.
They had a moment of silence for Alex Schumacher before the game. They also had a dog drop the puck before the game which the crowd loved. The Idaho Steelheads backup goalie sat on a chair near the entrance to the rink. This is the first time I have seen that at a Knight Monsters game. Usually they are on the bench. took the lead in the first period. The Tahoe Knight Monsters tied the game in the second period. The Knight Monsters got the offense rolling in the third period with four goals in five minutes. The game started off slow. It had its chippy moments. Then the Knight Monsters found their grove.
