The Tahoe Knight Monsters will be making their first ever appearance in the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs in their inaugural season. The Knight Monsters clinched a playoff spot on Wednesday after the Kansas City Mavericks defeated the Idaho Steelheads. On Wednesday a win or a Steelheads loss would have secured a playoff spot for the Knight Monsters. The Steelheads lost before the Knight Monsters finished their game against the Wichita Thunder. The Knight Monsters do not know who their opponent will be yet. There are three teams still fighting for the last two playoff spots in the division. The Knight Monsters can secure the second seed in the division and home advantage in the first round with a win. Dates have yet to be announced. The ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs start on Wednesday, April 16th. Tahoe Knight Monsters playoff tickets and merchandise are available now.
