The Tahoe Knight Monsters are at home for game seventy-two against the Wichita Thunder. This is the last game of the regular season. Today is the last game of a three game home stand. The Tahoe Knight Monsters lost the back-to-back so far in this home stand. The Wichita Thunder are looking for their fourth win in a row. The story going into this game is that the Knight Monsters have secured a playoff birth and are looking to secure second place in the division. The Knight Monsters can do that with a win. A loss could see the Knight Monsters lose home advantage in the playoffs. This is a divisional game. Tonight is fan appreciation night.
This is game 72 of the 2024-25 ECHL season for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing the Wichita Thunder. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League and the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League. The Wichita Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
Parking is best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Knight Monsters do send out a special deal for parking at the Golden Nugget.
It will be another warm one with temperatures in the upper 50º at puck drop.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters Knight Cap Crushable Lager can be bought at Lake Tahoe Aleworx. Lake Tahoe Aleworx are a five minute walk from the Tahoe Blue Events Center.
Tonight is fan appreciation night. They will probably have a video on the board or something to thank fans. They are giving away glow rods again. They did release a video on X earlier. I am not sure what all they will do. I am pretty sure at some point or multiple points during the game or in between periods they will do stuff to thank the fans for showing up all season.
