The Tahoe Knight Monsters are at home for the third game of first round 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Wichita Thunder. This is the third game of the series and the playoffs. This is the first ever home playoff game in Tahoe Knight Monsters franchise history. Today is the first game of what could be a three game home stand. The Tahoe Knight Monsters won back-to-back games to open up this series. The Wichita Thunder are looking for their first win of this series. The story going into this game is that Tahoe Knight Monsters have a chance to go up 3-0 in this best of seven series. A win would do that. A loss would have them play at least a game five. This is a divisional game. Tonight is blackout.
This is game three of the first round of the 2025 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing the Wichita Thunder. The Tahoe Knight Monsters are the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League and the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League. The Wichita Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL. The game is at the Tahoe Blue Events Center in Stateline, Nevada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
Parking is best at the Golden Nugget. It is located across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Knight Monsters do send out a special deal for parking at the Golden Nugget.
It will be another warm one with temperatures in the upper 50º at puck drop.

This is the first ever home playoff game in team history. I do not know if they are doing more for this game than normal. There might be a new intro. The atmosphere will be great no matter what. The team is giving out rally towels. Playoff merch is available. There is a team signed playoff shirt up for auction. There will be plenty of tickets available as this game is on a Wednesday.
