As I come to the end of 2019, I look forward to what could be in 2020. This year was good. Next year will be better. At the end of every Reno 1868 FC season, I turn my head to the future. Not just what the future holds for them but me. This year was a little different. When the season ended I was still dealing with the Los Unikos drama. Then there was the whole thing with YouTube, the FTC, and COPPA. This means that not only did December sneak up on me but so is the new year. I don’t have as many new goals for 2020 as I did for 2019. I mostly just want to get back to where I was in February and March. Not in the sense that I am trying to recreate what was going on then. I just want to get back into a situation where I am creating a lot more.

What happened in 2019
In 2019, I created the most content for Zac Plays soccer. Zac Plays soccer was the most popular of my YouTube channels in 2019. I started the year with the welcome to 2019 video. I started the All For Our City Podcast. I started to create more content around 1868 games. Content like promo videos, game day posters, a pregame podcast and game review blog. I was also filming my adventures in indoor soccer. All of this was good. All of this helped me grow. Then I hit a wall. I started to work more. I stopped doing the podcast. The indoor soccer team fell apart. S even though there were a lot of good things happening there were also a lot of things keeping me from creating content.
What’s new for 2020
For 2020 I am going to get back to having a larger content output. 2-3 videos a week. Returning videos will be GoPro soccer, All For Our City, Promo videos. I will be trying to put out Weekly blogs during the Reno 1868 FC season. Those being game reviews and news blogs. I want to get back to podcasting. The podcast that I know will return will be the 1868 Now podcast. The podcast I want to return but am not sure about is the All For Our City podcast. The reason I am not sure about its return is because of the amount of time it takes to make an episode. A live episode of 1868 Now takes me about 30-45 minutes in total to create. An episode of the All For Our City Podcast takes upwards of 5 hours to create. That’s all I have for returning content.
For new content, I only have a few ideas. Since year one I have wanted to do some type of travel vlog for away trips. I will be doing travel vlogs/blogs for all of my away trips in 2020. I want to continue to expand the All For Our City video series. Mainly with additional cameras and an affiliate program. I want to record more of myself, more of the drummers, and more of the Douglas Alley Renegades. I think that the All For Our City series can be better and will be in 2020. I want to do FIFA videos. I did them in the past. I want to do them again. I know I will be doing a Player career but I’m not sure what other modes I will be doing. If I had more free time I would be doing live FIFA videos as well. Lastly, I want to change my podcasts to make them more visually entertaining by using on-screen graphics. I think this would help viewers better understand what I’m talking about.

What happened in 2019
I didn’t get to do much with this channel in 2019. Reno still does not have an ice rink. When that changes more content will come.
What’s new in 2020
As for now, I will continue to make GoPro hockey videos until the outdoor rink season ends. At that point, releasing content will slow down dramatically. Around when I start uploading FIFA videos I will also be uploading NHL videos. Again, at this point, I don’t know what modes I will be doing except for player career mode. I will also be creating some form of content around this season’s AHL all-star game. I think I will be doing a vlog and a blog. That’s all I have for Zac Plays soccer

What Happened in 2019
It’s been sad. I haven’t been creating mixes. I think I have released all of 2 mixes so far, this year. I was hoping to change that sooner. I think at this point I will only be able to get two more out by the end of this year. A Christmas mix and a new year’s mix. I haven’t been making as many mixes as I had in the past because I have been focusing on creating content for Zac Plays soccer.
What’s new in 2020
I want to start 2020 by getting back to creating weekly mixes. Once I am doing that consistently I will expand. At most I will be doing 3 mixes a week. Each one with a different visual style. If I ever get a gig I will do a vlog about it. That’s all I want for Zac Electrifly in 2020.

What happened in 2019
My blogs exploded in popularity in 2019. This was mostly due to the success of the 1868 Life (A Game Review Blog) series. It was also due to the number of blogs I put out. So far in 2019, I put out 52 blogs. In 2018, I only put out 15. That right there is a win. I am going to continue the game review blogs in 2020. In 2020, I will be continuing the monthly update blogs, writing more of In-Depth Looks, and continuing to put out podcast notes.
What’s new in 2020
In 2020, I will be trying to do weekly blogs. The topics will vary but it should stay along the lines of being about me, music, or sports. The first idea I have for a new blog series is about video games. What I want to do is make a video about a video game, write a blog about the video and release the video with the blog. The videos will be unlisted on YouTube. The only way to watch the video would be to read the blog or follow me on social media. Video games will not be the only content I will be doing like this. Any videos that don’t fit onto my content will be done this way. I want to do Minecraft build reviews but I don’t know when that’s coming. I also will be doing all of my upcoming nerf content through my blog.

Social media
What happened in 2019
Not much has changed in the way I do social media since 2017. In 2019, I created more content around Reno 1868 FC game days. I grew a lot. I lost a lot. I started 2019 by posting hourly or almost hourly. While that helped me grow, doing that took a lot of time out of content creation. Later on, in the year I created a posting strategy. That helped do the job just as effectively. Then I started to rely too much on it. There were days and even weeks when I didn’t post anything. I think I need to be posting at least once a day and in 2020 I will do that.
What’s new in 2020
I will start 2020 by trying to post something every day. I want to create more original content for social media. Right now, I am posting 80-90 percent self-promotion on my social media. I think that number needs to go down to 50-60 percent. I will also be trying to create a more effective social media strategy in January that will help with that. I do want to create a video series for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I don’t know what those series will be about yet. I don’t know when they will be released but it’s something that I want to do.
I hope you enjoyed this look at what is to come in 2020. The future is promising. I know that there is a lot that I want to do. I know I can accomplish all of it. I know it’s going to be difficult but I can. I think 2020 is going to be an amazing year.
