Reno 1868 FC announced that the Silver State Cup Final has been delayed.

Kickoff for tonight’s Silver State Cup match between Reno 1868 FC and Las Vegas Lights FC at Greater Nevada Field has been delayed from 630 pm to 730 pm. This delay is due to bad air quality caused by smoke. At 1500 (300 pm) the Air Quality Index (AQI) was at 179. If I remember right the AQI was under 50 at noon today.
The smoke is again coming from wildfires in Northern California. I think this smoke is specifically coming from the glass fire which is burning in Napa and Sonoma County. I couldn’t find any resources relating the smoke in Reno to that fire. This is the first match for Reno 1868 FC that has been delayed do to smoke this season. There have been multiple other matches that could have been delayed due to poor air quality caused by smoke.
