2022 Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey. We are now on day four of the tournament. There were 4 games in the Men’s tournament. The united States played Canada. Germany played China. ROC (Russia) played the Czech Republic. Switzerland played Denmark. There are 4 more Men’s Ice Hockey games coming up tonight.
United States vs Canada. I will be doing a game review for this game. I will try to get that out as soon as I can. USA beat Canada
Germany vs China. Germany took a 2-0 lead after the first period. Germany extended their lead to 3-0 less then 5 minutes into the first period. China was able to score in the final minute of the second period. Germany took a 3-1 lead into the third period. China would score the only goal of the third period. They scored about half way through the period. The final score was 3–2 Germany.
This one was a lot closer then I thought it would be. I thought everyone might just blow out China. I guess that’s not the case. Germany is now 1-1-0. China is now 0-2-0. China is still at the bottom of group A.
ROC (Russia) vs Czech Republic. ROC scored first. It was 1-1 after the first period. Czech Republic took the lead after the second period. It was 3-2 Czech Republic heading into the third. ROC would take a 5-4 lead. The Czech Republic would score in the final 2 minutes to send the game into overtime. Czech Republic would score late into a powerplay. Czech Republic won the game 6-5 with a goal 4 minutes into overtime.
ROC (Russia) loses a close battle to Czech Republic. ROC finally got over their lack of scoring. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to beat Czech Republic. Giving up a powerplay in overtime was the downfall of ROC. ROC is now 2-0-1. Czech Republic is now 2-1-0.
Switzerland vs Denmark. This was the final game of Group B play. It was 1-0 Switzerland after the first period. Denmark dominated the second period. It was 3-1 heading into the third period. Denmark would not give up their lead in the third. Switzerland made it 3-4 I. The last few minutes of the third period. Switzerland polled their goalie. Denmark scored on the empty net. The final score was 3-5 Denmark.
Switzerland continued to struggle. Denmark walked away with a win. Switzerland is 0-2-1. Denmark secured the second spot in Group B after going 2-0-1.

Group B has finished group play. Group A and C should be finishing up group play tonight. Will the USA go unbeaten in group play? How bad will Canada beat China? Will China go 0-3? The winner of Sweden and Finland will win Group C.
