The Panthers would score 5 minutes into overtime to win the game. The series is now tied at 2-2. The next game will be Wednesday in Florida.

The Panthers showed that they were not going to back down. The Panthers can win this series. Their biggest struggle has been that they have not been able to get quality chances. They have to get more quality chances if they want to win in the playoffs. The Capitals on the other hand just didn’t get a lot of shots. Credit to them for keeping the game close and managing to take the lead a few times. They are not going to win a playoff series with less than 20 shots a game.

The Penguins now have a 3-1 series lead over the Rangers. Game five will be in New York on Wednesday. The Penguins will have a chance to close out the series with a win.

The Penguins massively outshot the Rangers. The Penguins win can be attributed to them not taking penalties, winning faceoffs, and taking shots. The Rangers were in this game in the beginning. Then they just let the Penguins take over. The Penguins really took over in the second period. The second and third Penguins goals as well as their fifth and sixth goals were within a minute of each other. The Penguins were scoring in bunches and quickly. All of the momentum is on the Penguins side as the series shifts back to New York. Will the Rangers have anything up their sleeves to stop the penguins?

The Nashville Predators have been the first team to be eliminated. The Colorado Avalanche are the first team to win a series and the first team to advance to round two. It was a clear and deceive series win for the Avalanche. The Predators just couldn’t do anything to stop the Avalanche. The Predators never found a way to win. Calgary Flames vs Dallas Stars. Round one. Game four. In Dallas. The Stars had a 2-1 series lead going into the game. Neither team would score in the first period. The Flames would score a powerplay goal to take the lead. It was the only goal of the second period. The score was 1-0 Flames going into the third period. The Flames would add two more before the Stars scored. The Flames would get one more in the last 30 seconds of the game. The final score was 4-1 Flames. The series is now tied as it goes back to Calgary for game five. Game five will be tomorrow.

This series has become somewhat of a toss up. I think either team could win game five. I think what this could come down to is who establishes their game first. The first team to score will probably win the game. This game is big because if the Stars win they can close the series out at home. If the Flames win they won’t have their backs up against the wall in Dallas. The first goal in game five may end up being what wins the series.

Current Bracket:

The Colorado Avalanche have advanced to the second round.

The Nashville Predators have been eliminated in the first round.

Here are the upcoming games:

All of tonights series are tied at 2-2. It will be a chance for the home teams not to have to win a game on the road to stay alive. It is also a chance for the away teams to take a series lead back home. They would then have a chance to win the series out home.

Will the Bruins be able to win one in Carolina? Will the Hurricanes win on the strength of their home crowd? Will the Lightning continue to win against the Maple Leafs? Will this game lead the Maple leafs to another early exit? Will the Blues be able to take the advantage? Will the Wild’s veteran goaltending lead them to another win? Will the Kings be able to win in Edmonton? Will the Oilers show more signs of being cup contenders or will they let the Kings run all over them again?
