That was a great way to end a series. The Maple Leafs forced a game five and even forced overtime in game five. It was not enough though. The Panthers are riding their momentum they got from beating the Boston Bruins. It’s proven to be too much for the Maple Leafs. After twenty years the Maple Leafs finally made it to the second round. They actually won one of the game but for most of the series it felt like they weren’t in it. On the other hand the Panthers are killing it. It should be a good Eastern Conference Finals showdown.
The Florida Panthers have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. They will play the Carolina Hurricanes. Game one is still to be announced. A southern United States team will be in the Stanley Cup Finals.

This game was close. What it comes down too is the Oilers gave up the lead twice. Then the Oilers had bad stretch of about two minutes where they allowed three goals. Vegas was able to hold on to their one goal lead. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Oilers manage to force a game seven. Will the Golden Knights win the series in game six? Will the Oilers force a game seven?
Game six will be on Sunday, May 14th 2023. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm PST.
